I've been having reasons to head to the Gyodae area every week lately, and I always end up needing to grab lunch alone. While looking for a solo-dining-friendly spot near Gyodae Station, I found this burger restaurant with no break time and no closed days — Daily Fix Seocho Gyodae Branch — and decided to check it out! Apparently it's the bacon cheeseburger spot that Davichi's Kang Min-kyung raved about.
Where is Daily Fix Seocho Gyodae Branch, and what does it look like?
Daily Fix Seocho Gyodae Branch is in an alley 120m straight from Exit 9 of Gyodae Station. Turn left into the alley where you see the Bbongsabu storefront, and the restaurant is on your left.

Most lunch spots near Gyodae Station have a break time so I couldn't go, but Daily Fix runs straight through without one, so I could visit even at an awkward hour!
Inside Daily Fix: solo bar seats and group tables
The Daily Fix Seocho Gyodae Branch space is huge! There are tables for two, tables for four, and bar seats great for solo dining — the place felt clean and hip.

All the way in the back there's a separated space with group seating too, so it's good for coming with a crowd.

Daily Fix says its cooking philosophy comes from a Michelin diner in New York — 100% Korean beef patties, house-made bacon that takes 1,000 hours of care, and pastrami they boil themselves before layering it on. With that much effort, this feels less like fast food and more like actual cooking.
What I ordered at Daily Fix: bacon cheeseburger, bacon cheese fries, grapefruit ade
At Daily Fix Seocho Gyodae Branch I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, fries, and one ade. The grapefruit ade was refreshing and delicious.

The bacon cheeseburger is Daily Fix's signature menu item, and apparently the one Davichi's Kang Min-kyung praised so much. I was on a tight schedule, but I loved that the food came out fast after ordering.

Drinks, draft beer and highballs at Daily Fix
Daily Fix serves both alcohol and drinks. There's fresh orange juice squeezed from four oranges with no water added, plus lemon ade and grapefruit ade, and a burger place can't skip milkshakes — theirs is a proper hand-stirred milkshake made with organic milk! There are also standard drinks like Pepsi, Pepsi Zero, Sprite, Mountain Dew, and sparkling water.
And here's why it's also worth coming in the evening: Stella draft, Sangsang Pale Ale draft, Slow IPA draft, Hoegaarden draft, and Mocha Stout dark beer draft — a full range of draft beers, plus Suntory highballs for setting the mood, and even a sampler of four draft beers haha.
How does the Daily Fix bacon cheeseburger taste?
The Daily Fix bacon cheeseburger was an easy-to-eat size and thickness in one bite. I'm not a fan of oversized burgers that are hard to eat, but Daily Fix's size was just right. The bacon peeking out from between the buns looked thick and delicious.

It was savory and delicious. I think just about anyone would like it, and there's a reason it's the signature menu item.

Here's what the inside looks like. I liked how you could really taste the bacon. The patty seemed high quality too, and the bun was tasty!!

Bacon cheese fries and the 18 Fries upgrade at Daily Fix
Daily Fix has two kinds of fries: chili cheese fries and bacon cheese fries. I ordered the bacon cheese fries with sautéed onions and bacon. I liked that instead of pouring cheese right on top of the fries, they give you the sauce on the side haha. They even gave ketchup separately, which felt like a nice touch.

The portion was so big I could only eat about half, but it's the kind of flavor that stays on your mind,, You can also upgrade the fries to 18 Fries for ₩1,000, which uses Belgian potatoes cut to 18mm for a thicker, moister fry. I prefer thin fries so I skipped the upgrade this time. Next time I might try the chili cheese fries.
If you're looking for a quick lunch spot near Gyodae Station or craving a good burger, give Daily Fix Seocho Gyodae Branch a try! I think I'll be coming back often.
