Hi everyone :) Lately I've randomly been craving conveyor-belt sushi, you know? So I went looking for a good sushi spot near Daechi-dong close to home, and I found a place where literally every plate is a flat ₩1,990! Given how prices are these days, that's kind of amazing, right?

After actually going, the quality-to-price ratio was way better than expected, so I really want to recommend it as a budget-friendly sushi restaurant haha. Let me write it up in detail below!

How to find the second-floor entrance near Seolleung Station

I went to Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station, and it's close to the station too, so accessibility was really good. There's a big sign right at the entrance going upstairs, so it was easy to find!

Counter seats and group tables: does Sushi Ian N work for a team dinner?

The seating inside Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station is split between counter seats and group tables, and the interior was bigger than I expected, so even with a wait, it looked like tables would turn over quickly! Looking at reviews, people said they got seated fast even during busy lunch hours :)

There's a restroom inside too, and it was super clean! 👍🏻 We sat at the counter!

Free soup refills, green tea and fries for kids

At Sushi Ian N you scoop out as much wasabi and soy sauce as you like to your taste, and the broth is refillable at the self-serve bar too! And if you ask the chef, you can also get free warm green tea haha.

Also, if you come with your kids, the fries are free too! They take care of even these little details, so it's a totally legit budget-friendly sushi restaurant...

Before we really got into eating, I watched the belt going round and round and it just made me more hungry... I guess that's part of the fun of conveyor-belt sushi restaurants, watching that belt turn hahaha!

Take plates off the belt or order sushi fresh

You can grab the sushi right off the belt and eat it, or if there's something specific you want, you can order it directly and they'll make it fresh right away! We ordered whatever we felt like eating in the moment and ate it right as it came out! Just looking at the menu, there's a huge variety.

Best plates: beef tartare sushi and shrimp egg sushi

This Seolleung sushi restaurant had way more sushi varieties than I expected! And since the price is so low, I wondered if the taste would be cheap too, but that wasn't the case at all. It was actually more delicious than I thought, so I'd say I was satisfied haha.

I couldn't get a photo, but the beef tartare sushi and shrimp egg sushi suited my taste the best!

Lastly, we finished off with some fruit for dessert! Overall the sushi variety was wide and the price wasn't a burden at all, and on top of that the taste was good too, so it ended up being way more satisfying than I expected haha.

Even I, who doesn't usually eat raw food much, enjoyed my meal at Sushi Ian N — you can see how impressively the empty plates stacked up, right..? haha

What I liked especially was that at ₩1,990 per plate, there's little pressure about picking out as much as you want! Since the price was so low, I wasn't expecting much in terms of taste or quality, but after actually eating there, the sushi was surprisingly good, and I was satisfied haha.
