Uijeongbu BBQ buffet with nurungji rice and slushies: Muhan Paldo
In short
Muhan Paldo Daepae Uijeongbu Millak Branch is an all-you-can-eat thin-sliced pork BBQ restaurant on Millak-ro in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi, where adults pay 18,900 won. The writer grilled three cuts — flower pork belly, frozen pork belly and thin-sliced pork belly — stirred finely chopped green onion sauce into the fried rice, pressed it down into crispy nurungji (scorched rice) and finished with a slushie from the self-serve bar. With six meats, tteokbokki, Hangang ramen, fried rice and slushies on the bar, plus a CCTV-monitored playroom, Muhan Paldo Daepae works well for dinner out with kids.

This is a story about Muhan Paldo Daepae Uijeongbu Millak Branch, a favorite BBQ spot in Uijeongbu, and its thin-sliced pork belly self-serve bar. I'd had a great meal here before, and this all-you-can-eat place has more than just thin-sliced pork belly — frozen pork belly, beef brisket, you name it — plus a self-serve bar stocked with tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), fried rice, Hangang ramen, and even slushies, so there's fun in picking and choosing whatever you're in the mood for. Here's my honest review again 🐷

Parking isn't exactly spacious, so if there's no spot, you'll need to use the paid Daiso parking lot right next door!

The restaurant sits right on the street with big signage showing the menu and prices, so it's easy to spot while passing by. This place also has a playroom kids love, so my two were excited even before we walked in haha

There's a sofa out front for waiting, and hutgae tea and coffee ready to enjoy on the way out.

Where to sit with kids: the CCTV-monitored playroom
The Muhan Paldo Daepae Uijeongbu Millak Branch is pretty spacious, so it's great for family gatherings and comfortable enough for group dinners too. Families with kids tend to sit near the playroom haha
The playroom set up on one side has a trampoline, a slide, and even an arcade machine tucked inside, making it a great spot for kids to play before or after eating! There are CCTVs both inside and at the playroom entrance, so parents can keep an eye on things while eating, and can relax a bit more while the kids have fun 😌

How much is Muhan Paldo Daepae? 18,900 won for adults
The all-you-can-eat price is ₩18,900 per adult, ₩10,900 for lower elementary students, and ₩8,900 for preschoolers. They even have unlimited soju haha. Side dishes include naengmyeon (cold noodles), steamed egg, doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew), and hot pot rice, all great to pair with the meat!
An all-you-can-eat self-serve bar you can enjoy however you like

What's on the self-serve bar: six meats and eight sauces
The meat corner has six kinds in total: Korean pork thin-sliced, beef brisket thin-sliced, pork shoulder thin-sliced, frozen pork belly, flower pork belly, and thin-sliced pork belly. With so much variety, it's great for trying a bit of everything!

There are 8 sauces for dipping the meat, plus soybean powder, curry powder, salt, pepper, and more! Each sauce has a short description written out, so you can read through and grab whichever suits your taste haha

There are dinner rolls ready if you want to make a meat burger, plus rice, seaweed, and chopped kimchi for fried rice. My kids love putting seaweed over rice and eating it together with the meat 😋

There are also plenty of side dishes to go with the thin-sliced pork belly. Kimchi, bean sprouts, bracken fern, pickled onion, pink sausage, shredded green onion, tofu, potatoes, mushrooms — all well stocked! The lettuce wraps were kept nice and fresh too. There's so much variety that I only grabbed small portions of each haha
The tteokbokki on the self-serve bar is nice too, as you can take as much as you want, and the slushie is a refreshingly cool dessert my kids love! I also found it good for a mid-meal cool-down while eating meat haha
And the Hangang ramen is unlimited too! There are over 10 kinds of ramen, and if you need an egg you can order one via tablet. Meat followed by hot ramen is such a great combo 😄 The self-serve bar was well stocked, and I loved that I could freely grab as much as I wanted without feeling self-conscious ✨
Grilling three cuts: flower, frozen and thin-sliced pork belly
Meat and side dishes all set for a good meal! My kids were happily playing in the playroom while I got everything ready, which made it quicker and easier haha
One perk of thin-sliced pork belly is that it cooks fast! Grilled kimchi and bean sprouts are a must, and since we love mushrooms, we grilled those golden brown too haha
I tried three kinds — flower pork belly, frozen pork belly, and thin-sliced pork belly — and personally, I'm a fan of the thin-sliced pork belly! It's delicious with kimchi, and it also pairs perfectly with shredded green onion 👍🏻

I got to eat mushrooms, my favorite, to my heart's content, so I think I ate more than usual haha

Fried rice with chopped green onion sauce, nurungji and a slushie finish
Last time I couldn't get to the fried rice because I was busy eating the Hangang ramen, so this time I skipped the ramen and went for fried rice haha. I don't add a separate fried rice sauce — the green onion sauce here is so good that I chop it up finely and mix it in instead. That gets the seasoning just right, and letting it sit a bit to turn into nurungji (crispy scorched rice) makes it even more delicious 😆
And of course, finishing with a cool slushie! My two little ones said it tasted even better and more refreshing after playing hard in the playroom haha. Between the meat and the fully loaded self-serve bar, this turned into another satisfying, full-belly dinner out ✌🏻

Leave a review on Naver or Instagram and you'll get a drink or 2 gacha coins.
On my nth visit, Muhan Paldo Daepae Uijeongbu Millak Branch is still a great place to enjoy thin-sliced pork belly along with a variety of self-serve bar options like tteokbokki, Hangang ramen, fried rice, and slushies! With a playroom kids love too, it's a comfortable spot for a family meal out, so I'm happily recommending it again 😊
