Cheonan sushi restaurant with 10 extra takoyaki: Ganghan Sushi

Today's spot is Ganghan Sushi Cheonan Buldang Branch, located in Buldang-dong, Cheonan! It's a great sushi restaurant to visit whenever you're craving sushi in the area. Great value, great menu lineup — I ate really well here, so let's get into the review!

Where is Ganghan Sushi Cheonan Buldang Branch, and where do you park?

Ganghan Sushi Cheonan Buldang Branch is on the 1st floor of First Plaza in Buldang-dong! It's directly across from Cheonan City Hall, so it's very accessible and easy to get to.

For parking, you can use the First Tower underground parking lot! Parking can be a bit of a hassle in Buldang-dong, so it's nice being able to use a building's own lot if you're driving :) The parking lot goes down to B2!

Once you park and come up to the 1st floor, you'll find Ganghan Sushi Cheonan Buldang Branch :)

No break time, and solo dining is possible! Takeout is available too~

Inside Ganghan Sushi: seating and how to register your parking

The interior of Ganghan Sushi Cheonan Buldang Branch is overall clean and cozy! There are 2-person and 4-person tables, so it's good for dates or meals with friends, and also fine for solo sushi trips. True to a sushi restaurant, it had a clean atmosphere that's nice for eating :)

After eating, you can self-register your parking, which is convenient. You can register for up to 2 hours free, so make sure to register before you leave~

During peak hours there's even a wait — it's a popular spot in Buldang-dong :)

Ganghan Sushi menu prices and the review event

The Ganghan Sushi menu ranges from basic sushi to special sushi and omakase sushi sets! There are also rice bowls, pork cutlet, and various side dishes, so it's a great Cheonan sushi restaurant with lots of options :)

We went with 1 Ganghan Special Sushi + 1 Ganghan Sushi + 10-piece takoyaki :)

Through a review event, you can get egg sushi and fried tofu sushi at a super low price — worth checking out and joining~!

How the Ganghan Sushi and Special Sushi sets and the 10 takoyaki tasted

First, the tableware next to our seats was all neatly arranged

Pickled ginger, ginger slices, and soy sauce all set up before the sushi! Everything is already on the table, so it's easy to eat comfortably.

Udon, broth, and seafood croquette come out before the sushi! Such a great trio for appetizers :)

The seafood croquette especially was packed full of seafood inside — so good I wanted to order more, haha.

The sushi comes out on full platters, so it's visually mouthwatering right away. On top is the Ganghan Sushi, below is the Ganghan Special Sushi! The special sushi comes with a more varied lineup including scallop and monkfish liver.

The visuals were seriously top-tier... and the variety made it fun to pick one piece at a time!

The sashimi was seriously thick, cut into perfect one-bite pieces — dipped lightly in soy sauce, it was so clean and delicious~~~ T_T

This aged kimchi (mukeunji) that came alongside really paired well with the sushi!

Flounder here, salmon there — the variety meant we could enjoy all kinds :)

The gamtae (seasoned seaweed) with squid, and the monkfish liver, were both amazing... the flounder was really thick and chewy, we ate it all up happily!!

You can't skip takoyaki while eating sushi~~ We were worried we'd get hungry so we ordered 10 pieces of takoyaki, but after the sushi we were so full we almost couldn't finish them, haha.

Is Ganghan Sushi Cheonan Buldang Branch worth a visit?

We enjoyed both the Ganghan Sushi and Ganghan Special Sushi, and adding the takoyaki made the meal really filling and satisfying at Ganghan Sushi Cheonan Buldang Branch!
