Jeonju foot bath café with Pengsu Zone seat and lemon iced tea
In short
Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang is a massage and foot bath café on the second floor of a hanok on Eunhaeng-ro inside Jeonju Hanok Village. The 2-person basic course — a 30-minute aroma foot bath, shoulder massage and a drink — came with a rose foot soak at the Pengsu Zone seat, where a shoulder massager and hand pressure tools kept going for about 30 to 40 minutes. For feet worn out from a day of walking Jeonju, nothing beats a window seat with a hanok view.

Today I'm introducing a unique date spot in Jeonju Hanok Village — Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang!
Where is Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang and how do you get there?
Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang is located inside Jeonju Hanok Village, at 61 Eunhaeng-ro, 2nd floor, Wansan-gu, Jeonju-si, Jeonbuk, so it's easy to drop by while walking around the hanok village.

We were originally headed to 'Anma Jogyok Cafe Manjok,' but they happened to be cleaning at the time, so the owner kindly directed us here instead.
The classic hanok exterior glowing with warm yellow lighting had such an elegant charm~

A cute footprint sign guides the way, so even first-time visitors should be able to find it easily.
Inside the hanok: window seats and the Pengsu Zone

Once you open the door and step in, you're greeted with soft music and a warm, cozy atmosphere.

When we visited there was one foreign guest, and then people kept trickling in until the window seats filled up in no time!!

I guess everyone wants to soothe their tired travel legs the same way haha.
The basic course: 30-minute aroma foot bath, shoulder massage and a drink

We ordered the basic course: 30-minute aroma foot bath + shoulder massage + drink for two.
How does the foot bath work, step by step?

First, once you arrive, you put your shoes and socks in the shoe cabinet by the entrance and store your belongings in a locker.

Once you sit down, you can choose one of three foot soak options: peppermint, lavender, or rose.

The staff kindly explains the benefits of each one, so you can pick whichever suits your taste! (We both went with rose 🌹)

If you just lift your feet and hold still, the staff slides the chair over for you, and once your feet are dunked into the foot bath machine, you're set~
There's a rotating pressure-point pad at the bottom of the foot bath, so moving your feet around against it while soaking really melts away built-up fatigue. And that's not even the end!

Shoulder massager and hand pressure tools at the seat
✔️ Shoulder massager: a massage service that evenly loosens up your neck, shoulders, back, and even your stomach~

✔️ Hand pressure-point tools: they even hand you tools that soothe you all the way to your fingertips, so after about 30–40 minutes of the course, your whole body just melts haha.

There's even the luxury of sipping a cool lemon iced tea while looking out at the beautiful hanok view through the window... (Secretly, I was so sleepy I barely got a chance to enjoy the view...)

Wrapping up at the foot cream zone
Once the whole course is done, you can finish up at the foot cream zone by applying foot cream for smooth, soft feet. After the treatment, my feet felt as light as cotton candy!!!

It's a great place to completely shake off the fatigue that builds up during a trip, so I'm definitely planning to come back on my next trip to Jeonju :)
Who will enjoy this Jeonju foot bath café?
- Travelers with tired feet from walking: for those whose legs are swollen and exhausted from walking the whole stretch from Gyeonggijeon to Jeondong Cathedral in the hanok village, this offers rest like rain after a drought.
- Adult children traveling with parents for a filial trip: a great course for soothing parents' tired feet after walking in the heat or cold, while enjoying a relaxed conversation with a serene hanok view.
- Couples wanting a unique date: instead of a regular café, great for couples who want to sit side by side against a beautiful hanok view through the full-length windows and capture unique memories and photos.
