Just so you know, there's no dedicated parking lot, so we parked at the nearby Eonyang Bulgogi parking lot, which was ₩4,000 per hour.

We came at an awkward early hour, so there were plenty of open seats at first, but customers kept trickling in until it was completely full! What surprised me was how many foreign guests showed up.

The interior has a cozy yet clean, comfortable atmosphere, and with high chairs on hand, it's an easy spot to bring the whole family.

Steak pot rice, pork bracken pot rice and yurinji at Solsot Gwangalli

Solsot Gwangalli, the Korean restaurant in Gwangalli, Busan, basically serves its pot rice menu as individual solo sets. Each comes with side dishes for pairing, the main pot rice, soup, and salad, and once you're done you can pour in hot water to make nurungji (scorched rice tea) at the end, haha.

There's steak pot rice, grilled eel pot rice, and plenty of other options to pick from depending on your taste, and you can order easily through the tablet set up at each table!

We went back and forth and ended up adding steak pot rice, pork bracken pot rice, and yurinji. Every time I come here I feel the same way — all the pot rice is delicious, but you absolutely must order the yurinji as a side. It's honestly better than the yurinji you get at Chinese restaurants, which is exactly the trap that makes it a must-order side dish, haha.

After a short wait, the staff served everything like this. They explain how to enjoy the meal for first-time guests, but since we'd been a few times already, we skipped that part, haha. There's a printed guide right on the table showing how to eat, so there's no need to worry.

The presentation is amazing, right? It genuinely tastes great!!!!!!!!! Served this neatly, it's clean and tidy enough to enjoy comfortably as a solo meal, haha.

Why were 70% of the weekday diners foreign visitors?

Even though it was a weekday, once some time passed, so many people came in, and word must have spread among foreign visitors too, because about 70% of the customers were foreign.

How did that happen, haha? Did everyone hear about it and come? I was both curious and amazed.

By the way, if you leave a Naver review, you can get a small yurinji like this — and like I mentioned earlier, this is the killer must-eat menu item here, so you have to try it! Or just order it as a side, haha. You won't regret trying it.
