It was time to change my pedicure, so I finally went for one again after a while. This time, I visited Jsu Beauty Eyelash & Nail, Seomyeon Branch, right in front of NC Department Store. It is a total beauty salon on the second floor, so it offers not only nail services but also other beauty treatments such as eyelash services.
There were quite a few customers in the salon when I visited, and I could see people receiving treatments at each station. It seemed more popular than I had expected, so I had a good first impression right away.
Right opposite NC Department Store, easy to stop by in Seomyeon
Jsu Beauty Eyelash & Nail, Seomyeon Branch was so conveniently located directly opposite NC Department Store. As soon as I went up to the second floor, I could see the salon, and it was a great spot to drop into after other plans in Seomyeon.
It is not just for nails; you can also receive other beauty treatments such as eyelash services, so it would be convenient for anyone who wants several treatments in one place. The interior was neatly kept, and the owner explained everything kindly, so even though it was my first visit, I could relax in a comfortable atmosphere.

From old pedicure removal to a new one in 40–45 minutes
That day, I had my existing pedicure removed and received a new one. I usually expect a pedicure to take over an hour, so I had left plenty of time, but it was finished surprisingly quickly.
Even with my old pedicure to remove, the entire treatment only took around 40 to 45 minutes. It did not feel like they rushed through it or finished carelessly, either. They thoroughly tidied up the necessary areas without dragging things out unnecessarily, which was actually impressive.
Especially while raising a child, it is not easy to set aside time just to get a manicure or pedicure. So I really liked being able to get a pedicure done in such a short time.

A drill-based cuticle care process
What I found most fascinating that day was the cuticle removal method. Normally, pedicures often involve softening cuticles with a remover and then tidying them with tools, but here I barely saw acetone or cuticle remover being used.
I was curious, so I asked. The owner said she generally prefers caring for nails in other ways rather than using lots of chemical products. When tidying my cuticles, she did not apply remover and then use nippers; she used a drill to clean them up neatly right away.

Since the drill is used close to the skin around the toenails, it looked like it would require a certain level of skill. The owner told me that she practices a lot regularly in order to provide care this way.
It was impressive to hear that she had kept practicing to provide the kind of care she wanted, rather than simply stopping at using fewer chemical products. They also used toe separators during the pedicure, and these were not disposable—they were sanitized for reuse. I do not automatically prefer disposable products myself, so I liked that part too.

A neatly finished pedicure after the cleanup
Once the cuticles and skin around my toenails had been tidied and the pedicure was complete, my toes definitely looked much neater.

I usually find the long time needed for a pedicure a little burdensome, but this time, with removal included, it was done in the 40-minute range, so I had more time than expected. If you are concerned about product use, it may be a good idea to ask in advance whether they offer the treatment method you prefer before visiting. This can vary depending on your personal situation, especially if you are pregnant or sensitive to ingredients, so it is best to check the products and treatment method beforehand.
I would comfortably book again before my next appointment
After changing my pedicure this time, I felt like I would not have to worry about my toes for a while, and somehow even my mind felt refreshed.

More than anything, I have always found the long time a pedicure takes a little disappointing, but this one finished much faster than expected. It made me think I could book it without feeling burdened even when I have plans afterward. The owner was kind, too, and explained anything I was curious about during the treatment, so I was very comfortable.
Next time, I want to choose a pedicure color with a slightly different feel from this one, so I am thinking of visiting again when it is time for a change. If you are looking for nail art around Seomyeon or Jeonpo, you could keep this in mind for a pedicure.
