Why Raon Sik Tak was the pick for a solo meal after Hyundai Department Store

A while ago I stopped by Hyundai Department Store and took my time shopping, and afterward I really wanted a nice meal 🤍 I was looking for somewhere comfortable to go alone with a clean, tidy vibe, and I happily walked over to Raon Sik Tak Pangyo, a well-known Italian spot in Pangyo!

How does the squid ink seafood tomato fettuccine taste?

After ordering and catching my breath for a bit, the plate I was waiting for showed up neatly set on the table 🤍 First, I wet my throat with the Zero Coke haha

Colorful visual of the seafood pasta

The visual alone was so colorful and gorgeous that my eyes lit up the moment I saw it! The seafood tomato fettuccine at Raon Sik Tak Pangyo Branch has a very appealing feature — it uses squid ink noodles that are kneaded fresh every day.

The black squid ink noodles had a distinctly springy, chewy texture that was really unique and wrapped nicely around my tongue.

The sauce also carried a deep, pleasant tomato flavor that soaked right into the noodles instead of sitting separately, so every bite felt rich and full. It was generously loaded with scallops, mussels, squid, and plump shrimp 🤤

Plump scallops on top of the seafood fettuccine

The scallops were plump and bursting with savory flavor with every chew, and the mussels and shrimp had a clean, light taste too. The chewy squid, the rich tomato sauce, and the chewy squid ink noodles all came together in a combination that was absolutely amazing!

Was the solo meal worth it, and what to order next at Raon Sik Tak

The portion was generous and hearty, so I was able to finish every last bite and enjoy a happy, satisfying meal. Even dining alone, I could stay comfortably without any awkwardness, which made for a thoroughly satisfying time 🤍

Next time I visit, I definitely want to order the Margherita made with dough aged for 72 hours, along with the savory cream potato gnocchi, to enjoy a bit of everything!
