Pizza and pasta set for two on a Friday night in Bucheon: P&Chick

Today I'm bringing you a review of P&Chick, a pizza restaurant in Sinjung-dong that I picked as a Bucheon date spot. My partner and I had planned to meet near Sinjung-dong Station, and we ended up rushing over here — but from the first bite my eyes lit up. I really thought, wow, I picked well. Let me be honest with you about the price, the vibe, and the taste.

P&Chick is located at 178 Sinheung-ro, Sangga 3-dong 115-116, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, 312 meters from Sinjung-dong Station Exit 2. It's open daily from 11am to midnight, with last order at 10:30pm, and closed on Sundays.

What P&Chick looks like from the street

Even on a Friday evening, the place was packed. From the moment we arrived at 7pm, the empty seats disappeared in no time. With only about 9 tables, there weren't many seats! We were lucky to get in right on time without waiting — it seemed like the kind of spot people find by word of mouth, and I noticed both couples on dates and families dining there (I figured this out just by looking around).

Corn cheese is only free on weekday evenings at P&Chick

P&Chick, the Sinjung-dong pizza spot, gives out corn cheese as a free service after 5pm on weekdays. Since Friday evening still counts as a weekday, we were able to get it too. If you miss this window you might not get it, so it's worth checking before you visit.

You order through a kiosk and pay at the counter on your way out.

The 29,900-won set: combination pizza and Toowoomba pasta

True to P&Chick's reputation as a Sinjung-dong pizza spot, the combination pizza comes loaded with pepperoni, mushroom, bell pepper, and olives — nothing missing.

The cheese pulled beautifully and it was the real deal — I didn't expect to eat pizza this good in this neighborhood ••• 🤤

In the Toowoomba pasta, the thick, cream-coated arugula cut through the richness! It was loaded with cheese too. The cream wasn't heavy, so it paired perfectly with the pizza.

How the free corn cheese tasted

We ordered a zero cola, and even the cup had P&Chick written on it — it already gave a good impression 🧡

The cheese had a pretty fancy taste, and piling the corn cheese onto nachos was pure bliss.. Maybe it tasted even better because we were hungry, but our table cleared its plates faster than anyone else's, haha.

Other P&Chick menu items we didn't order this time

I also looked into other options besides P&Chick, the Sinjung-dong pizza spot. Near Sinjung-dong Station Exit 3 there's a wood-fired pizza specialist certified by the Naples pizza association. From what I found, even a single pizza there starts in the mid-20,000s won, and it gets busy enough on weekends that reservations are needed. The dough is chewy and thin in Neapolitan style, so it would be a different experience from the pizza we had. We chose P&Chick instead since we could walk in without a reservation and enjoy pizza and pasta together in one set :)

Is the P&Chick pizza and pasta set worth it in Bucheon?

With only about 9 tables, seating wasn't generous, but the food and service left nothing to complain about. Being able to enjoy pizza and pasta together in a set, plus get free corn cheese on a weekday evening, made it satisfying both in value and taste.
