Today I'm back with a review after eating BBQ in Sinjung-dong~

Entrance of Gogi Gubneun Bangatgan Sinjung-dong Station Branch

How to find Gogi Gubneun Bangatgan near Sinjung-dong Station, and what the room is like

This is Gogi Gubneun Bangatgan! Take the building elevator up and it connects right into the restaurant, so getting in was really easy! And it's only 5 minutes from Sinjung-dong Station, so it was easy to find too~ The inside was quite spacious and had a clean, pleasant atmosphere! It seemed like it'd be great for group visits too.

Spacious and clean interior of Gogi Gubneun Bangatgan

Is it really corkage-free with ₩1,500 soju and beer?

And here's the surprising part — corkage here is free! That means they're really making their money purely off the meat, which is impressive~ Next time I'll bring along a bottle of something I like.

Even more surprising — soju, beer, and soft drinks were all ₩1,500?! I genuinely have never seen prices like this in my life.. If you love drinking, this is the place!!! And imported beer is ₩2,500???? The owner is seriously amazing…

Basic table setting after ordering the A Set

The A Set at ₩57,000: 1kg + 50g and the basic table setting

We ordered the A Set! The A Set comes with 1KG+50G of meat, priced at ₩57,000~ The value for money is honestly overflowing, and it'd be great for a family meal too. This is how the basic setup comes out! Along with the meat, the kimchi, shredded green onion, and radish that come with it were all delicious too.

Basic setup with kimchi, shredded green onion, and radish

The meat marinade was uniquely made with green onion instead of the usual onion, and it was really tasty too!

The side dishes were set up self-serve style so you could eat as much as you wanted! It was run cleanly, which I liked. They even thoughtfully prepared sesame oil dipping sauce~

Pork jowl, pork belly, pork neck and makchang: four cuts on one grill

The meat arrived! Looks quite generous and delicious, right~ It looked so pretty that my mood immediately lifted the moment it came out haha. The portion is seriously huge!!

Generous plate of A Set meat served

First up was the pork jowl! You know how pork jowl gets chewy and springy when grilled, right??

Pork jowl included in the A Set

Next, the most delicious cut — pork belly~ Honestly, I think pork belly is number one among meats! You never get tired of it.

And pork neck. The pork neck came out noticeably thick-cut!

They even prepared makchang (grilled beef/pork intestine) for us! How did they know I love makchang??

Minari (water dropwort) and mushrooms, which go great with meat, came out too~

They loaded up the grill and grilled it all diligently for us~

Meat piled high grilling on the burner

Looks appetizing and generous, right~ The portion was quite large, so it'd be great to come with family for a meal! Big eaters would love it too~

Two burners per table, with doenjang jjigae on one side

Oh, and there are two burners on the table, and they put doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) on one side! Letting it bubble away while you eat goes really well with the meat~~

The meat is cooking up beautifully!!

They grilled it diligently until golden brown! And the delicious smell of meat started to fill the air~

Eating well-cooked meat together with side dishes

Is Gogi Gubneun Bangatgan in Bucheon worth it?

I tried it with various side dishes, and the meat quality was solid and tasty~ Also, being able to eat several cuts at once was really great~~ Pork belly alone is good, but eating it together with everything else makes it even better. If you want to eat your fill of meat at a great price, I recommend Gogi Gubneun Bangatgan!!
