Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch is a café in Dong-gu, Daegu, serving brunch and coffee. I had the Hands House Brunch Set and creamy mushroom pasta by the Geumho River on a quiet weekday morning. A lovely place for an unhurried view-side morning.

Today, I came out for a morning coffee with some younger friends I know. Since we are usually all busy with our own lives, it had been a while since we had met in the morning and leisurely enjoyed coffee together~ We chatted about this and that over delicious cups of coffee, lost track of time, and started the day in a happy mood.
Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch: location and parking
Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort location
Search for “Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch” in your navigation app. It is a place near Dongchon Resort where you can enjoy brunch and coffee together, and it has its own customer parking lot.

The red-brick building caught my eye first. Its tall exterior and large windows made me curious about the inside before I even went in.

There is an elevator inside the building~ As someone with not much stamina, I love places with elevators. We checked out every floor to find a good seat, haha.

The brick walls and potted plants gave even the entrance a warm atmosphere.

Information on bingsu (shaved ice dessert) and brunch sets was on display.
The ordering area and a quiet weekday morning
Hands Coffee menu
Once inside, you will see the ordering area with a menu board and various notices. We arrived around 10 a.m., and perhaps because it was a weekday morning, it was pleasantly quiet~ They also have a Naver receipt-review event, so do give it a try~

Coffee-related items were displayed beside the counter. With lights placed above the glass display case, even the ordering area looked like a small exhibition corner.
Different seating moods on every floor
First floor
The first floor felt calm, with deep wood-toned furniture and warm lighting. The exposed concrete ceiling and vintage objects looked stylish, while green plants throughout made it feel even more relaxing.

Even the same sofa seating looked different with the potted plant in front. The patterned floor and furniture colors worked together, making this side of the café look especially cozy.

Second floor
The antique feel continues on the second floor. This area has green chairs and small tables, with framed pictures and mirrors on the walls adding a different mood from the other seats.

Small round tables were lined up along the wall. There were quite a lot of potted plants throughout the café, and the green plants among the wooden furniture made looking around indoors quite fun.
Third floor
The third floor felt a little like browsing a furniture showroom. One side was styled like a cozy living room, another like a comfortable room, and another like a yard. It was fun to explore because the three areas had such different moods on the same floor. I think you could get a totally different feeling from the same café depending on where you sit. Haha.

This area has floor seating, so it seemed like it would be fine for bringing babies along~ It also appeared to have electrical heating installed for winter~
A morning seat overlooking the Geumho River
We sat in this area overlooking the Geumho River. Of all the seats we looked at, this one seemed like the best spot. Haha. It was so nice to sit down and take in the open river view.

With coffee and brunch in front of us and a lovely view to enjoy, it was perfect for a leisurely morning.

There was also an outdoor rooftop. Seeing the open view, I thought it would be lovely to sit outside with coffee on a nice day. It felt like a place where I would want to spend time leisurely looking over the Geumho River when a cool breeze is blowing. Haha.

Hands House Brunch Set and mushroom pasta
We ordered the Hands House Brunch Set (₩24,900) and the Creamy Mushroom Pasta~

The Hands House Brunch Set came on one plate with bread, sausage, scrambled eggs, and salad. Dipping the nicely cut bread in olive oil, it was very soft and mild~ The colorful ingredients were arranged so neatly that it was a brunch that was pleasing to look at, too. Haha.
They even provided the cute olive oil in a little bottle like this. It was small enough to fit right in my hand, so adorable~

The Creamy Mushroom Pasta combines short, thick pasta with cream sauce and mushrooms. It had a strong mushroom aroma and a distinctive flavor~

I recommend it to anyone looking for a Dongchon Resort brunch café who also wants a window view and a lovely interior. On this weekday morning, we were able to relax on the third floor as if we had the whole place to ourselves~
