If you love baked treats near Gongdeok Station, I really hope you stop by Fluffy Bake Shop at least once :) I already love madeleines and financiers so much that I simply cannot walk past a place with lots of varieties. There were so many choices, and most were in the ₩3,000 range, so I packed up a whole bunch! 😋💝

Fluffy Bake Shop location and hours

It is at 106, 1F, Building 2 Shopping Arcade, 8 Baekbeom-ro 31-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul, and is open 08:00–18:30 Monday through Friday and 11:00–16:30 on Saturdays and Sundays.

Fluffy, a great dessert spot near Gongdeok Station

It is close to Exit 2 of Gongdeok Station, and its white exterior stands out from a distance, so it was easy to find ☺️ I loved that Fluffy Bake Shop is a café where you can enjoy desserts and drinks inside as well as get takeout.

I packed mine up because I wanted to give them as a gift, but next time I would love to eat them in the café with coffee. Above all, there were truly so many desserts on display.

Madeleine and financier varieties

There are several madeleine flavors, while the financiers range from classics to chocolate, fig, walnut caramel, Nunettine, and apple churros—so many distinctive choices!

The packaging is neat too, so I recommend stopping by when you are looking for return gifts or a simple dessert gift near Gongdeok Station.

The salt bread I ended up taking home, and menu prices

I was only going to buy baked sweets, but in the end I could not pass up the salt bread. It was generously sized, with that ideal crisp-outside, soft-inside texture 👍🏻

The Nunettine financier I strongly recommend

I packed up a whole lot 🤎🥐 The Nunettine financier is the one I especially want to strongly recommend! The nutty, moist financier gets an added sweet, crisp charm reminiscent of Nunettine, even down to the texture! The sweet crunch and chewy financier were so delicious 😋

I was so satisfied overall that I thought, I am glad I bought so many! 🤎🥐✨ With so many madeleine and financier varieties, it is fun to choose according to your taste, and with most in the ₩3,000 range, trying several does not feel too burdensome.

My thoughts on the egg tart and madeleines

The egg tart was so delicious, with a soft filling nestled among flaky, crisp layers of pastry. It is a menu item I want to buy again next time!

The lemon madeleine paired bright lemon flavor with a sweet coating, so it was not overly sweet and was lovely to eat cleanly. I think it would go well with tea as well as coffee. The chocolate madeleine had a distinctly rich chocolate flavor! It was not dry inside, but moist and satisfyingly substantial, so I would recommend it if you love chocolate desserts.

I would recommend Fluffy Bake Shop to anyone looking for desserts near Gongdeok Station, great madeleines or financiers, or baked treats that make a nice gift. Both the flavor and prices were satisfying, so it is a dessert spot I would love to revisit whenever I am in Gongdeok :)
