Cheonan café for walnut caramel ice cream and a flat white: Brewers
In short
Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch is a local café in Sinbu-dong, Cheonan, a short walk from Shinsegae Department Store and the intercity bus terminal. A family of three visited on a weekend, waited about 10 minutes behind two parties, then took a window table for three and ordered a flat white, an americano, walnut caramel ice cream and a vanilla macadamia financier. Both the milky coffee and the financier at Brewers Coffee beat expectations, making it an easy recommendation for coffee and dessert lovers.

My family had plans in Cheonan over the weekend, so after lunch we went looking for a nearby café. Last time I came here the wait was way too long and I just left, but today it seemed manageable. My mom, who barely ever waits for anything, was curious why this place was so popular and joined the wait with us haha. So today I'm here to figure out why.

Where is Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch, and what about parking and hours?
Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch sits in the heart of Sinbu-dong's commercial district, close to Shinsegae Department Store and the intercity bus terminal, so it's easy to get to. It's open daily from 12:00 to 21:00. I'm not from Cheonan, but even I knew about Brewers Coffee — it's a fairly famous local café here.
Because of how Sinbu-dong is laid out, parking space is very tight near the store. I'd recommend using the Sinbu 4 or 5 public parking lots nearby, or just visiting on foot.
How does the wait work at Brewers Coffee?
The first thing to do when you arrive: register on Catch Table! **On-site registration only.**

There's also outdoor terrace seating, and now that the weather's cooling down, a lot of people were sitting out there. There's a photo booth too, so if you get bored while waiting, it's a fun way to kill time haha.
They even had cold iced tea ready for waiting customers 🍹 We had two parties ahead of us and waited about 10 minutes before getting in!

Interior mood and seating in Sinbu-dong
Once you step inside, it feels totally different from outside. The interior is hip and has a free-flowing vibe — instantly I understood why so many people come here. The high ceilings mean it never feels cramped even when it's busy.
On one side there are open tables set up like a half-terrace, so you can sit and sip your coffee like at an espresso bar. The classic black-and-white-and-wood combination gives the space an exotic, appealing feel.
They also have booster seats and bag baskets available separately! There are tables for various group sizes, so it seems welcoming no matter who you come with. Since we were three, we were seated at a window table for three or more.

What the family ordered and the baked-treat lineup
Honestly, the moment I walked in I had a strong feeling the coffee would be good — you could just tell from the interior alone. They had americano, flat white, and walnut caramel ice cream, so we ordered all of them together.

Just looking at the dessert lineup, you can tell this place is known for its baked goods. I'd heard the baked treats here were amazing, so I had high expectations. It seems like they bake fresh batches whenever the display case runs low. Even visiting in the afternoon, nothing was sold out, which was great.

They have flan, canelé, financier, and madeleine varieties. Every table seemed to have at least one dessert plate on it. We were already full but had to try something, so we also ordered the vanilla macadamia financier.

The baked goods can also be gift-wrapped in boxes. Anyone want to be gifted something?!

After a short wait, a staff member brought the menu items directly to our table. Even though the store was busy, everyone was kind 🙂

Vanilla macadamia financier
The financier seems to be a steady bestseller at Brewers Coffee, and I picked the vanilla macadamia version because I love macadamia. The nuts were chunky and had a real presence in every bite. The white chocolate coating wasn't too sweet and paired well with the nutty macadamia.
The texture of the financier was seriously crisp, and the butter flavor was incredible... this was the best financier I've had all year. If you come here and don't order a financier, I'm sorry, but please leave...

Walnut caramel ice cream
Cheonan → walnut cookies (hodu-gwaja) → walnut → walnut ice cream. Following that fairly logical chain of thought, I ordered the walnut caramel ice cream. I expected it to taste like a walnut-flavored dessert, but it actually had less dairy cream flavor than I thought and tasted more like real walnut — light and clean. Mixing in the caramel sauce made a great combination. There was also a vanilla madeleine on top as garnish!

Flat white and americano
Turns out this place really is a flat white/latte destination... the beans were genuinely nutty and went down so smoothly. My sister and I both kept marveling as we drank it... I kept stealing sips from hers haha.

The americano was also nutty and easy to enjoy, a solid all-around choice.

Is Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch worth a visit?
If you want to relax with a cup of coffee in Sinbu-dong, I'd recommend Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch! The atmosphere is great, the latte is even better, and the financier especially is truly delicious. If you love coffee and desserts, definitely pay a visit ☕️
