Where is Macho Nacho in Mangwon, Seoul?
Macho Nacho is a nacho spot at 128 Huiujeong-ro, 1st floor, Mapo-gu, Seoul, near Mangwon Hangang Park. This post is a takeout review from Macho Nacho. It's a bar-slash-restaurant where you can casually grab nachos with a drink, and since it's only a 5-minute walk from the Han River park, it's a great option to pack up and eat on a mat by the river!

Walk forward and there's heat, rain, sweat, tears — walk into the shop and there's draft beer! A great place to come for a cold one.

Inside Macho Nacho: atmosphere and seating
The inside of Macho Nacho was on the smaller side, with about three 2-seat tables and one 4-seat table. The lighting is a bit dim, which makes for a nice mood if you're coming for a quick drink in the evening. It felt like a good spot for a solo drink after work on a weekday too. We considered eating in, but ended up getting it to go.

Macho Nacho menu and the types of nachos
Macho Nacho's menu has nachos with different toppings, light drinking snacks, soups, sides, and alcohol. The nacho options include signature nachos, cilantro nachos, beef brisket nachos, ground meat nachos, and pepperoni pizza nachos, and you can also order extra toppings.

And on the drinks side, they had beer and soju as well as cocktails, glasses of wine, and even bottles of red wine. There's a good variety, so it's worth checking out when you visit!

What comes in the ₩16,900 Netflix Set?
We went with the budget-friendly Netflix Set. It comes with Macho Nachos plus two 500ml beers, and you can also swap in a different nacho for an extra charge — so we added ₩5,000 to switch to the signature nachos.
The signature nachos are the Macho Nacho base with extra cheese and bacon added. They whipped it up right after we ordered — piled the nachos and toppings high, finished it off with cheese, and torched it perfectly.
And here's the finished signature nachos. Eating it fresh would obviously be best...! But even just looking at it got me excited!

You can also pay with Kakao Pay.

Draft beer to go, packed with ice
The Netflix Set includes two draft beers, and they thoughtfully packed them full of ice. Drinking them right by the Han River would've been the absolute best, but since we drove, we headed straight home instead. If you're walking to the river, I really recommend this — you can still enjoy it ice-cold there too.

How did the signature nachos taste?
The signature nachos come topped with house-made salsa, jalapeños, corn, bell pepper, cheese, bacon, and three kinds of sauce. The portion was bigger than expected, plenty for two people, and perfect as a simple drinking snack for a late-night meal once we got it home.

Crispy nachos topped with soft bacon were delicious, and the sauce had a nice savory depth that got even better with that smoky char. The spicy jalapeños on top meant there was never a moment it felt heavy.

Thanks to all that ice, the beer stayed cold all the way home. I didn't even bother putting it in the fridge when I got in — just drank it straight away, and it was genuinely refreshing.

Why Macho Nacho works for a Han River picnic
That wraps up my takeout review of Macho Nacho, the nacho spot in Mangwon-dong. It was great to eat at home, but I think it'd be even more perfect as picnic food by the Han River! Especially now that evenings are getting cooler, it's the ideal time for a beer outdoors, and grabbing the Netflix Set to go would be just right for that. I should head out on foot for a Han River picnic soon.
