Seohae, Incheon discount store for meal kits and masks: On Saenghwal

In short

On Saenghwal is a two-floor household goods discount store on Takok-ro in Seohae, Incheon, right by the Seohae District Office. On the second-floor bargain corner I looked over shelf-stable meal kit soups and snacks, then chose masks for the autumn flu season and paid at the first-floor register, where they were packed into a paper shopping bag. On Saenghwal even sells official pay-as-you-throw trash bags, so it handles a whole list of household basics in one stop.

Where is On Saenghwal in Seohae, Incheon?

On Saenghwal is a home goods discount store using the 1st and 2nd floors of the Seonmin Building on Takok-ro, right near the Seohae District Office in Incheon. I was running low on a few household things, so off to On Saenghwal I went!!

The blue sign stood out, so I found it right away

This place even does its own bulk-buy deals

They had cheap groceries in the freezers too

I'd recommend going up to the 2nd floor first, browsing slowly, then paying on the 1st floor!!

The flow of browsing the 2nd floor first and paying on the 1st floor was easy at On Saenghwal. The wooden stairs up to the 2nd floor had a handrail for safety too, which was nice. The steps were low enough that older folks could get around comfortably too~

With prices being so high these days, I find myself comparing prices in several places even for one household item. On Saenghwal is a discount store where you can pick up all sorts of household goods in one place at reasonable prices, so I decided to look around. There were all kinds of household goods on display right from the stairs up to the 2nd floor

Toys priced ₩5,000 and up were 15% off

Great if you want to buy toys cheap for kids who get bored of them fast

The second-floor bargain corner: meal kit soups and snacks

On the right side of On Saenghwal's 2nd floor is a clearance corner. As soon as I got upstairs, the clearance corner on the right pulled me in and I started browsing, dreaming of a good find. The room-temperature meal kit soups were really cheap

They also had snacks at low prices, so I kept debating over which ones to buy

Kitchenware and group-buy prices at On Saenghwal

The 2nd floor of On Saenghwal had a lot of electric kitchen appliances and kitchen tools that get used a lot at home. Some were also available at group-buy prices, so you could even shop at wholesale rates

Trays came in various sizes and designs, and even scissors came in a range of types for different uses — this place really has everything

Section by section: tools, computer goods and fitness gear

At On Saenghwal, each shelf had a number and category clearly written on it, making it easy to go straight to what you need. My husband wouldn't leave the tools section and circled it several times haha

It was nice to spot summer mosquito nets and swatters, and even bamboo blinds you often see in older houses — hadn't seen those in a while~

For computer accessories like keyboards, mice, and chargers, this is a good place to stop by when something suddenly breaks and needs replacing

The fitness gear corner was fun too. There were so many massage tools I hadn't seen before, so browsing was quite entertaining

There's even a goldfish section that kids love, so children tagging along never get bored~~

From food-service supplies used by large restaurants to items for people living alone, this is a place where you can grab exactly what you need right away

They also had a wide variety of body scrub towels, good for finding whatever style you prefer. Browsing around, it felt similar to Daiso but on a bigger scale with more variety

Buying masks and paying at the first-floor register

This time what I bought at On Saenghwal was masks for fall flu prevention. I also spotted the trendy running waist belts and sports glasses

The register monitor showed the prices of what I bought in large text, which was nice to see, and the staff kindly packed everything into a paper shopping bag for me — thank you

This store also sells regulated trash bags, so if you live nearby, it's a good place to go when you need the large-capacity ones too

Is On Saenghwal worth a return trip for household goods?

The biggest advantage of a home goods discount store is really being able to see and choose a variety of products in one place. Online shopping is convenient, but for items where you want to check the size or material in person, seeing them in a store is so much easier. I ended up losing track of time browsing while shopping for what I needed

If you're in Seohae, Incheon looking for good-value kitchenware, bathroom items, or cleaning and storage goods, give On Saenghwal a look. Even if you don't have much to buy, it's a discount store where browsing alone can turn up an unexpected find

Bringing home the things I needed and organizing them felt satisfying, and with prices this low I'm planning to visit again
