Nampo Station sushi restaurant with salmon salad: Moshi Moshi Sushi

In short

Moshi Moshi Sushi Lotte Department Store Gwangbok is a salmon sushi restaurant on the 10th-floor restaurant floor of the main building in Jung-gu, Busan. Even with a Naver reservation at noon on a weekday, the wait at Moshi Moshi Sushi was about 20 minutes, and the order was salmon salad (24.0), salmon and flounder sushi (27.5) and assorted sushi set A, 10 pieces (18.0). The salmon was soft and the flounder pleasantly chewy, so Moshi Moshi Sushi is worth considering if you want sushi near Lotte Gwangbok.

So today I heard there was a great salmon sushi spot in the food court of Lotte Department Store Gwangbok, and I just couldn't resist and went again. What??? A sushi restaurant near Nampo Station???? Can't resist, let's crush it!!!!

Where is Moshi Moshi Sushi in Lotte Department Store Gwangbok?

Moshi Moshi Sushi Lotte Department Store Gwangbok is located in the food court on the 10th floor of the main building. Lotte Department Store Gwangbok has three buildings, and you can't cross over from the Mart (cinema) building to reach the main building's 10th-floor food court — only the main building and Aqua Mall are connected. The 2nd and 8th floors aren't connected either, so I recommend taking the escalator from the 1st floor or crossing over from the Modern House side.

Inside Moshi Moshi Sushi and the 20-minute weekday lunch wait

The interior of Moshi Moshi, the salmon sushi restaurant near Nampo Station, has about 5 solo counter seats surrounding the kitchen and about 20??? four-person tables. Actually, this Moshi Moshi Sushi Lotte Department Store Gwangbok location is a place I, a Yeongdo-gu resident, sometimes come to for sushi when meeting friends on weekday evenings — the restaurant is pretty quiet on weekday evenings, so keep that in mind if you want a relaxed meal. There were times when it was just the staff and us... hahahahaha

Anyway, maybe because we went right at noon, there were tons of customers today, and I finally understood why Naver reservations were blocked after 12:30... haha As a Yeongdo-gu resident, I had made a Naver reservation but still waited about 20 minutes for weekday lunch. I hadn't known before since there was no wait, but you can remote-queue through the Catch Table app.

The three dishes ordered at Moshi Moshi Sushi

We ordered the assorted sushi set A 10pcs (18.0), salmon and flounder sushi (27.5), and salmon salad (24.0). Dishes came out as they were ready, and since there were quite a lot of floor staff, the serving and clearing was done quickly and smoothly, which I liked.

Salmon salad (24.0)

Moshi Moshi's salmon salad, at this Nampo-dong sushi restaurant, came with 7 pieces of long raw salmon slices along with a salad of wasabi and sprouts. I, a Yeongdo-gu resident, already love salmon and eat it around often, and Moshi Moshi's salmon was really soft!!!

Salmon and flounder sushi (27.5)

Moshi Moshi Lotte Gwangbok's salmon and flounder sushi came with 5 pieces each of salmon sushi and flounder sushi, plus miso soup, vegetable salad, soft tofu salad, and tempura, all plated on one tray. The flounder was chewy and fresh, which I liked, and the tempura was crispy and delicious.

Moshi Moshi's assorted sushi set A, at this Nampo-dong sushi restaurant, comes with 10 pieces including egg sushi, sweet shrimp sushi, raw shrimp sushi, squid sushi, and tuna sushi, served together with vegetable salad, miso soup, and soft tofu salad.
