Where is FLU:ET in Sajik-dong?

FLU:ET, which I'm introducing today, is located in front of Ssangyong Yega in Sajik-dong. There are a lot of schools and apartment complexes around, so it's mostly locals from Busan who pass through, but since it's close to the Busan Asiad Main Stadium and Sajik Stadium, it also gets busy with visitors from outside the neighborhood.

Getting to FLU:ET and where to park

If you're heading to FLU:ET, the amazing-choux spot in Dongnae-gu's Sajik-dong, by public transit, the Gungmin Market bus stop is close by. If you're driving, parking at the building itself is difficult, so you'll need to find a nearby paid lot on your own. For reference, when I visited today I found the Gungmin Market Public Parking Lot nearby, about a 1-minute walk from the shop, so I'd recommend parking there and walking over for pickup.

Inside FLU:ET: is there any seating?

FLU:ET, the dessert spot in Dongnae-gu's Sajik-dong, was a cozy takeout-only shop with no tables to sit and eat. But the pile of styrofoam boxes stacked in one corner of the shop seemed to say 'this is a choux hotspot,' so I got really excited about the dessert and decided to check the menu.

At FLU:ET, the dessert spot in Sajik-dong, Dongnae-gu, they sell various choux flavors like plain choux, Earl Grey choux, cream cheese apple choux, Boseong matcha choux, and tiramisu choux, along with several fruit syrups like tomato basil syrup, orange grapefruit syrup, strawberry syrup, and passion fruit syrup, as well as ades made with the house-made syrups. Gift wrapping is also available for an extra fee.

At FLU:ET, the dessert spot in Dongnae-gu, if you buy over ₩10,000 worth of the delicious choux, they give you a draw ticket as part of the opening event. But since FLU:ET's choux in Dongnae-gu is so good that everyone's probably going to spend at least ₩10,000 anyway, let's all try to at least win a 5th-place Twix or something haha haha haha haha haha.

Since I was going to pack the FLU:ET choux and head to Seomyeon, I added an ice pack, but it turns out only 3 choux fit in one ice pack, so they packed mine in two separate bags of two ;;; If I'd known beforehand that only 3 would fit, I could've just munched on one on the way there... but I couldn't really say that to someone I was meeting for the first time (??), so I just took what they gave me haha haha haha haha haha.

How the plain choux from FLU:ET tastes

My first thought upon seeing FLU:ET's choux was that each one is really huge. It was a bit bigger than my fist, and when I split it in half, the cream just poured out !!!!! The top had a crumbly, crunchy texture (like streusel??) while the bottom was soft, which I really liked.

Usually when I eat cream-filled desserts like this, they get a bit greasy partway through and I start craving coffee, but FLU:ET's choux was packed with cream and still didn't feel greasy even after finishing a whole one — I really enjoyed it so much. Honestly, when I saw the sign at the shop about using French fresh cream and New Zealand butter, being a total dessert novice I didn't think much of it, but after eating it I understood exactly why they wrote it down haha haha haha haha haha haha. Anyway, the cream was soft and truly delicious.

Eating FLU:ET choux half-frozen

I froze the leftovers in the freezer at home, and when I took them out the next morning they were completely frozen solid. When I first took it out it wasn't cuttable, so I left it aside while I brewed coffee for a coffee bean review I had to write, and in that 3-4 minutes it thawed to just the right texture — I split it in half and tried it and it was seriously so good !!!!! Compared to eating it the day before, it was a bit colder and the cream texture was a little more like ice cream, which seems perfect as a summer snack.

FLU:ET, which I introduced today, is located in front of Ssangyong Yega in Sajik-dong. It's clean, as befits a shop that hasn't been open long, and the choux was so incredibly delicious that I really liked it. Eating the packed FLU:ET choux from Dongnae-gu, I kept thinking, 'why isn't everyone eating this choux????' and 'I have to try every single flavor here' — that kind of piggy determination kicked in. So if you're looking for a dessert spot to pack up near Sajik Stadium in Sajik-dong, I recommend FLU:ET.
