Hello, this is Lizzy living my best life. I had work even on the weekend, so I headed to Gwangalli early Saturday morning for brunch.

Famous Benny Gwangalli Branch hours and where to park

Famous Benny Gwangalli Branch is open daily from 08:00 to 18:00, with last order at 17:00. The address is 64 Minrakbondong-ro 11beon-gil, Suyeong-gu, Busan, South Korea, 1st–2nd floor.

The restaurant doesn't have its own parking lot, so Lizzy used a nearby one.

It's a two-story gray brick building. The outside vibe and the inside vibe are totally different.

Famous Benny menu and what 51,000 won ordered

Let's look at the menu together. Lots of drink options, and lots of brunch options too... I deliberated hard over what to order, haha.

I was going to get an Americano but switched to an affogato because I wanted one instead. After ordering, you wait upstairs on the 2nd floor and they bring the food to your table.

The Famous Benny with salmon, 18,000 won

First up is the Famous Benny. Lizzy ordered it with salmon.

Once you eat the vegetables sprinkled on top, a soft-boiled egg appears underneath. The yolk runs out and it's delicious.

There's bacon too, and hidden underneath that is the salmon. Protein, nom nom nom.

There's also avocado hidden off to the side. Avocado, nom nom nom.

Pumpkin soup, 9,000 won, served with bread

The next dish is the pumpkin soup. When ordering, I asked a question.

Is the pumpkin soup good, or the mushroom soup good?

When you ask for a menu recommendation, staff usually name the one they're more confident about, but I got an "I'm not sure" answer — meaning both are good. So I personally went with the pumpkin soup, since that's what I was craving.

It's even better because the soup comes with bread! You can eat the soup on its own, or dip the bread in it.

How were the French toast and the affogato?

Next up is the French toast. I wanted to try a toast-type dish too.

Toast coated in egg, with banana tucked inside.

Last is the drink menu item, the affogato. This is different from the affogato I know. It felt less like a drink and more like coffee ice cream. The affogato I know comes with the espresso and ice cream served separately, so you pour the espresso over the ice cream yourself.

The 2nd-floor self bar and tips for visiting Famous Benny

A quick stop for the Gwangalli beach and a brunch café to shift my mood before work — total success! And the food was delicious too!

On the 2nd floor there's a water dispenser, cups, plates, tissues, blankets — everything you need is set up there.

Lizzy left very satisfied with this brunch. Famous Benny accepts Dongbaek Jeon payments. If you're looking for a brunch café near Gwangalli, I recommend Famous Benny. My recommended combo is definitely one soup plus a Famous Benny dish. There can be a wait during lunchtime, so I recommend going between 10 and 11am.
