Hannam-dong bar with black tiger rosé pasta: OSA Hannam, Seoul
In short
OSA Hannam is an izakaya and bar on Hannamdae-ro 20-gil in Hannam-dong, Yongsan, Seoul, with a menu that runs from sashimi to pasta. The order was a sashimi moriawase, black tiger shrimp rosé pasta and Suntory draft beer, eaten at a table with a terrace feel under an open ceiling, and the aged sashimi tasted clean with no fishiness while the uni was especially rich. OSA Hannam is worth a return trip for a Hannam-dong date or a group night out.

Hi, this is Mingjjumangjju, eating and traveling.
I was looking for a good-vibe izakaya in Hannam-dong and ended up at OSA Hannam! I'd been curious about it since it's known as the spot for Jennie's birthday party, and once I actually went, the atmosphere was great and the menu ranged from sashimi to pasta, so it seemed like a solid pick for a date or a group hangout. Here's my review of OSA Hannam, visited right at the start of my Seoul trip!
Inside OSA Hannam: open-ceiling seats and the second-floor private room

The moment I walked into OSA Hannam I was surprised — the space was bigger than I expected. Overall it has warm, bright lighting with plants scattered around, giving off that distinctly Hannam-dong kind of mood.

Especially when I visited, the ceiling above the terrace was open, which gave it a great sense of openness. In a season like now, when evenings are cool, a seat like that is just perfect. It didn't feel like a stuffy indoor bar — you could feel the breeze, and it was exactly the vibe for a casual draft beer. We used the indoor seats that day, but next time I'd love to grab a spot on the terrace when the weather's nice.

And apparently the second-floor room can be used for various group sizes! I think this kind of space layout is part of why it became known as Jennie's birthday party spot. It's a solid option too if you're looking for a place in Hannam-dong where several people can gather. Just note the room has a separate minimum spend and room charge, so I'd recommend checking that when you book.
Sashimi moriawase at OSA Hannam — an aged sashimi plate with uni

We ordered the sashimi moriawase (assorted sashimi platter), black tiger shrimp rosé pasta, and Suntory draft beer!

The first thing we ordered was the sashimi moriawase. It came out as a single plate with tuna, white fish, shrimp, and even uni, so it looked great right off the bat. Picking through the different kinds one by one with a draft beer in hand was genuinely fun.

Since it's aged sashimi, I wondered if there might be a fishy taste, but it wasn't off-putting at all — overall it was soft and clean. Uni was my favorite of all. That distinctive rich, nutty flavor came through well while any overwhelming smell was barely there, making it great to pair lightly with the other sashimi. The tuna and white fish were tasty too, and the soy-marinated herring was delicious as well :) If you're ordering a few dishes, I'd recommend starting off with a sashimi plate first!
Black tiger shrimp rosé pasta — the surprise dish at this Hannam-dong izakaya

After the sashimi, we ordered the black tiger shrimp rosé pasta. Rosé pasta at an izakaya feels like a slightly unexpected combination, but OSA Hannam isn't just Japanese food — it turns out the menu options extend into Western dishes too, quite a range.

A big whole black tiger shrimp sits on top, and the shrimp meat was plump, so it really delivered on the eating experience. The sauce came generously too, so it was great for coating the noodles thickly, and after all the sashimi, having something warm and a bit rich come in worked really well as a combo.
Is OSA Hannam worth it for a Hannam-dong date or group night out?

I was curious about OSA Hannam since it's known as the spot for Jennie's birthday party. Having visited in person, I got the sense this is a place that put a lot of thought into the space, not just the food.
In particular, the open-ceiling seat that lets you enjoy it like a terrace was great to visit in weather this cool, and with everything from private rooms to a large room that fits several people, it seems like a good fit for all kinds of occasions — a Hannam-dong date, a birthday party, or a group gathering.
The sashimi moriawase we had was clean, with the aged sashimi not fishy at all, the uni was delicious, and the black tiger shrimp rosé pasta was satisfying too. OSA Hannam is a Hannam-dong izakaya I'd want to come back to next time I'm in the area.
