Cheonan pork belly restaurant Cham Dwaejitgan Cheonan Dujeong Branch — I went craving samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly) in Dujeong-dong. I could tell it's a popular spot as a Dujeong-dong meat restaurant. The interior felt clean and upscale, good for a family meal, catching up with friends, or a work dinner!

Inside Cham Dwaejitgan Cheonan Dujeong Branch: 60 seats and the room

Cham Dwaejitgan Cheonan Dujeong Branch is a spacious meat restaurant with 60 seats in Dujeong-dong. The moment I walked in, it felt roomier and more comfortable than I expected! Everything was kept neat, with none of the stuffy or messy feeling you sometimes get at a barbecue place, and the tables had generous spacing so I could eat comfortably.

With a full 60 seats, it looked great for group visits too. So I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a work dinner spot in Cheonan! Even a big group shouldn't worry much about seating, and the vibe was good for grilling meat with a drink.

I also liked that Cham Dwaejitgan Cheonan Dujeong Branch is colkage-free. That's a quietly important detail for people who enjoy meat with drinks. With this kind of thoughtful service, it's also a great pick as a Dujeong-dong pork belly spot to drink at.

Beyond the meat, the little touches around the store impressed me. There's kids' tableware, aprons, hair ties, and even yogurt or candy to cleanse the palate after the meal. On top of that they had floss, toothpicks, mouthwash, deodorizer, a phone charger, and a glasses cloth! All free, so whenever I needed something during the meal I could just grab it.

They also seemed careful about hygiene and ingredient management, which built trust. If you're looking for a Dujeong-dong meat restaurant recommendation and care about cleanliness and store management, this should work for you! The meat isn't just grilled plainly — apparently it's smoked with rice husk for extra flavor, then charcoal-grilled to keep the texture tender!

Two servings of pork belly with potato wraps and grilled kimchi

That day I ordered two servings of pork belly at Cham Dwaejitgan Cheonan Dujeong Branch. Knowing they only use Grade 1 Boseong nokdon pork — domestic clean Korean pork raised near Jirisan black pig style — got me excited. The look alone was mouthwatering! Grilled golden over charcoal, the meat had a subtle smoky flavor and a tender texture.

What's more, it wasn't just the meat that was good — the side dishes to eat alongside were on point too. The grilled potato wrap was a real highlight, and grilling bean sprouts, minari (water dropwort), and kimchi together was delicious! One bite of pork belly with grilled kimchi, bean sprouts, and minari wasn't greasy at all and I kept reaching for more.

In the end, two servings were so good I added a third. I'd wondered whether to order a lot from the start, but eating it made ordering more feel natural! Delicious meat and extra orders just go together, haha.

Finishing with doenjang jjigae and fried rice

You can't skip doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) when eating meat at Cham Dwaejitgan Cheonan Dujeong Branch, so I ordered it. Warm doenjang jjigae with rice made for a really filling meal!

On top of that, I got fried rice through a review event, and finishing off the meat with fried rice at the end was truly satisfying. They finely chop the leftover bean sprouts, minari, and kimchi and fry it all up well — I walked out genuinely stuffed.

Is Cham Dwaejitgan worth it for pork belly in Dujeong-dong, Cheonan?

As a Cheonan pork belly spot, a Dujeong-dong meat restaurant, and a Dujeong-dong pork belly bar, Cham Dwaejitgan Cheonan Dujeong Branch was a great visit. It suits anyone looking for a work dinner spot recommendation in Cheonan, and it's a place I'd want to return to whenever I'm in the mood for a clean-feeling barbecue restaurant with a drink :)

Like me, you might end up ordering extra pork belly because it's so good, and then clearing a fried rice at the end — so don't order too little from the start.
