Steel Green Bakery's exterior and parking lot
Steel Green Bakery is a large bakery café on Cheonheung 4-gil in Seongeo-eup, Seobuk-gu, Cheonan, with a spacious parking lot right in front of the building. It was easy to drive in, and the building itself is so big that it was easy to spot even on a first visit.

I arrived at Steel Green Bakery, a large café in Cheonan. The first thing that caught my eye was the sheer size of the place. There's a wide parking lot in front of the building, so it was convenient to visit by car.

There's also a fountain outside the café, and the view of it together with the building was pretty striking. True to a large bakery café, the building itself is huge, so it felt easy to find even on a first visit. After parking, I took my time looking around before heading inside.

The palm trees in the 1st-floor garden felt really exotic too.
What's on the first-floor bakery and café menu?
The 1st floor of Steel Green Bakery combines the bakery display case, café menu ordering, and tables all in one space. With coffee, non-coffee drinks, tea, ades, smoothies, and even ice cream, there was plenty of variety to pick something to go with the bread.

After getting our drinks and desserts ready, we also looked around the 2nd and 3rd floors. Each floor has various styles of café tables, so it was nice being able to choose the seat we wanted. There were spots good for chatting with friends as well as spaces good for sitting back and relaxing for a while.

How the bagel fruit sandwich and Green Bay Einspänner taste
For this visit we picked the ciabatta, a bagel fruit sandwich, and a green bay shupner. The fruit sandwich was satisfying just to look at, with fruit and cream layered between soft bread, and it paired well with the green bay shupner's matcha-and-strawberry combo.

The bagel fruit sandwich was seriously stunning to look at.

The green bay shupner — the matcha and strawberry combo was so good.
It was so pretty it almost felt a shame to drink.

The fruit sandwich was a pretty item to look at, with fruit and cream layered between soft bread. Packed with colorful fruit, it was satisfying just visually, and one bite gave you the soft texture of the bread along with the fresh tang of the fruit together. The green bay shupner we drank alongside it combines cream and coffee, so it paired well with the dessert too — the sweet, smooth cream plus coffee flavor went great with the fruit sandwich.
