Getting there was easy — it's within a 5-minute walk from Gongdeok Station, served by lines 5, 6, the Airport Railroad, and the Gyeongui-Jungang Line, Exit 3. And since it's 100% reservation-only, there was none of that chaotic, rushed atmosphere — I could get treated comfortably.

Rather than just attaching lashes to make them longer, Iyo Shop is a 1:1 custom lash specialist that designs around your eye shape, face shape, and the image you want.

Once you're inside, you change into indoor slippers.

Before starting, the staff checked what look I wanted for my eyes, then chose the rods and technique suited to my eyes to design the perm. Since my lashes are on the longer side, I wanted the curl to really show and give my eyes a more defined look, so I decided to go with the nutrition + black tinting perm.

It was quiet and comfortable, and since it's 100% reservation-only, I got focused, one-on-one attention for the whole session. The owner personally handled everything from consultation to finish.

How long does the lash lift take? 50 minutes at Iyo Shop

Lash treatments require lying down with your eyes closed for quite a while, so treatment time actually matters a lot. But mine finished in about 50 minutes — under an hour. The hands were quick too, so it wrapped up faster than I expected, but being fast didn't mean it felt rushed or careless at all.

If anything, it felt thorough despite the short time, and the results were great. It's kind of magic how just your lashes can change your whole impression.

After the lash lift: defined eyes without mascara

After. Adding nutrition to the lashes along with the black tint made the lashes themselves look a lot more vivid! Even without mascara, my eyes looked defined, and rather than an overly dramatic look, it felt clean and neat — the kind of lift you could wear every day without feeling like too much.

The curl was set well according to my eye shape and lash condition, finishing with a natural but defined look. I think I just need to keep applying lash serum to maintain it.
