New York-style bagel café in Suwon with dog keyrings: Orange Bagel

We went to Orange Bagel in Suwon. Here's our full review of the scallion cream bacon, Laugen butter, and bacon egg mayo bagels plus orange juice, along with the wide bagel lineup, goods, and store vibe.

If you love bagels in Suwon, check this out! My husband and I visited Orange Bagel this time.

At first I just saw the name and thought, "Oh, must be a café with lots of bagels." But the moment we walked in — wait, is this really Suwon?? haha. I thought it was just a bagel shop, but the whole place was decked out with a proper New York feel, so there was way more to look at than I expected. There was even a ton of goods, so we ended up taking way more photos than expected before even eating a bagel. But bagels are the main business here, so let me show you the food first!

It's about 979m from Exit 2 of Gosaek Station, and the store info also mentions a large parking lot.

We drove there ourselves, and parking is honestly a big deal when visiting a large café. If you're already exhausted just finding parking, you're tired before you've even had your coffee lol. So it was nice being able to drive there without stress.

Inside Orange Bagel: the New York-themed store

The first thing that caught our eye walking into Orange Bagel was the interior. Reds and oranges everywhere, New York-inspired props scattered around, and one whole section of the store styled like a themed set.

This wasn't just a single New York photo taped to a wall for "vibes" — it went way further than that lol. While looking around we found a mirror, and of course we couldn't resist snapping a shot.

We came here for bagels — not sure why we suddenly turned into tourists lol.

There were plenty of photo-worthy spots, great for while waiting or after eating.

And now, the main event — bagels! Orange, blueberry, rye, truffle cheese, basil, cinnamon, cranberry, deep choco, garlic, pollack roe mayo, olive tomato, and more — quite the lineup. And that wasn't even all of it.

Scallion cream, bacon egg mayo, red bean butter, sweet pumpkin, jalapeño chicken, double cream, potato, jambon, salmon, corn, shrimp & crab — the list kept going!

I thought having lots of options would make me happy, but when it's actually your turn, your mind just goes blank lol. Should I get this? No wait, that looks good too? After a long debate, we picked 3 based on our own taste.

Three bagels and an orange juice for two: what the couple paid

Here's what we ordered that day:

Just the two of us, but three bagels lol. There were too many intriguing options to pick just one.

Scallion cream bacon bagel, 8,500 won

First up, the scallion cream bacon bagel. The name alone is an irresistible combo.

Scallion + cream + bacon — naturally picked this one off the menu lol.

Laugen butter bagel, 6,900 won

Second, the Laugen butter bagel.

Wanted to try something a bit different from the other two, so we added this. They say simple is best, right?? lol

The outside was salty like a pretzel, and you could really taste the butter's richness haha.

Bacon egg mayo bagel, 8,500 won

Last, the bacon egg mayo bagel!

Bacon plus egg mayo — this combo also jumped right out at us while ordering.

It was exactly that familiar, well-loved flavor we all know!!

Orange juice, 6,000 won

And for the drink, we ordered orange juice!

Since we're at Orange Bagel, felt like we had to have orange juice too lol.

Laid out on the table like this, it looked pretty generous for just the two of us. We briefly wondered — did we order too much?

Nope. Turned out to be an unnecessary worry lol. Three plates, totally clean, right? We figured we'd box up leftovers if there were any — there weren't. All three plates, cleared.

After filling up, we looked around the store again, and browsing the goods at Orange Bagel was actually pretty fun. At first I thought they were just decor pieces, but up close there was a lot to see.

Postcard-like items, various trinkets, packaging and mugs with the Orange Bagel logo — products styled to match the store concept were everywhere. And this is what caught my eye the most lol.

Kevin & bagel keyrings! A row of dog-shaped keyrings hanging in a line, in colors like brown, burgundy, and red. According to the sign, you can ask at the counter if you want to buy one.

If you're the type who can't walk past things like this, you'll end up browsing here for a good while too lol.

Not just the goods but all the surrounding props were styled to match the overall vibe — made me think, the owner really is serious about New York lol.

Don't just leave right after finishing your bagel — worth taking a look around first.

Is Orange Bagel worth the trip as a large Suwon bakery café?

Went for bagels, ended up touring New York vibes and browsing goods for ages lol

We went there originally just for bagels, but Orange Bagel turned out to have a wide bagel lineup and plenty to enjoy just looking around the store. With the New York-styled interior, various props, and even goods, it felt quite different from a typical bakery café.

And when we ordered three bagels, we thought, "Can the two of us really eat all this?" but the result was three empty plates lol. If you're looking for a place in Suwon with a wide bagel selection or a large-scale bakery café, this one's worth checking out!
