Gangnam wedding hall entrance ATM and fruit hwachae buffet: Arbe

I went to check out Arbe Wedding Hall in Gangnam last weekend! As someone hunting for a bright venue, I'd already had my eye on Arbe's Rapine Hall, so this was long overdue.

Most Gangnam wedding halls seem pretty accessible, and Arbe was no exception — about a 6-minute walk from Seonjeongneung Station, so it wasn't hard to find at all.

Where is the ATM at Arbe, and where do guests park?

As a guest, the most important thing to me is always where the ATM is, haha. You know how it goes — you forget to withdraw cash beforehand and end up googling 'ATM at [wedding hall]'? Arbe has one right next to the entrance revolving door, so you can just withdraw and head straight to the gift table without panicking.

Arbe is a standalone hall with ceremonies spaced roughly 2 hours apart, so things feel relaxed and uncrowded. I've heard parking can be tough at some Gangnam wedding halls, but here you get 2 hours free through both the indoor and outdoor lots — a real convenience for guests.

Arbe's 1st floor: gift table, welcome drinks and photo booth

The 1st floor has a greenery-filled photo zone and a seating area with the gift table at the center. I noticed a piano there and asked — turns out live piano performances are possible too.

There's also a welcome drink bar and a photo booth, so I really got the sense a lot of thought went into guest convenience. Arbe splits into the 1st floor (gift table, welcome drinks, photo booth, seating) and basement 1 (hall, bridal waiting room, banquet hall), so guests can enjoy themselves comfortably while waiting.

Apparently they can compile photos together with the guestbook messages into an album afterward — sounds like a nice keepsake for the couple.

What does Arbe's flower-filled Rapine Hall look like?

Coming down the stairs, another photo zone and a bright photo table catch your eye right away. Even the photo table was surrounded by the scent of fresh flowers, giving off serious flower-filled house wedding vibes.

And — Arbe's Rapine Hall, known as one of the flower-heaviest Gangnam wedding halls, hits you with a massive fresh flower tower and overwhelming floral scent the moment you walk in 🩷

The whole hall feels like a garden bursting with blooms. The ceiling height was just right too — no cramped or boxed-in feeling at all. A pretty Gangnam wedding hall, pass! Now let's get to the buffet — honestly, after visiting Arbe, the buffet was the single most impressive part.

Inside the 130-dish Arbe buffet locals call 'Bap-Arbe'

There were something like 130 dishes plus a huge range of alcohol, desserts, and drinks, and the taste was genuinely solid. Food matters most when scouting a wedding hall, right? This buffet outdid even hotel buffets in variety, and the taste surprised me all over again.

There's a spinning conveyor sushi belt! You can enjoy premium hoe (raw fish) and sashimi and more —

and the alcohol selection is this varied! Draft beer, wine, and even several kinds of makgeolli (rice wine) — drinking here would honestly be half the fun.

Fruit hwachae and the freshly cut fruit station

First time I've ever seen a wedding hall with fruit hwachae (sweet fruit punch), lol. I like fruit more than dessert, so I always scope out the fruit corner at buffets — here they sliced it fresh right behind the counter, so there was a great spread of fresh, varied fruit.

Western dishes and the seafood corner

Of course a Western food corner is a must too! The tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patty) steak seemed like something even older guests could enjoy easily. There was grilled beef and lamb chops too. It wasn't just meat, meat, meat — grilled vegetables and other side dishes were always paired with it, so there was plenty of variety.

If you love seafood, you can't skip the snow crab, blue crab, and steamed shrimp.

Pasta and cream gnocchi that kids would love — of course Western food had to be there too. At this point I get why they call it 'Bap-Arbe' (rice Arbe).

The Chinese corner and how fast dishes are refilled

No buffet is complete without fried items, fried rice, and sweet and sour pork —

and the Chinese corner with menbosha (shrimp toast) and dongpo pork was hearty and delicious. Best of all, the food turnover was quick, so you mostly got warm, freshly made dishes. I guess that's exactly why the turnover is so good — everything's just that tasty.

Korean dishes, salads and the kids' menu

Of course, for guests who prefer Korean food, there's a Korean corner too — kimchi, namul (seasoned vegetables), and more, all well prepared.

Soft mousse salads and fresh vegetables are a must for balancing out all the meat if it feels too heavy. There's also cereal, milk, and yogurt that kids can easily eat.

I didn't get to try the sake, but this is the first buffet I've ever seen with sake on offer!!

Gelato and the dessert counter

After all that food, dessert can't be skipped either, right? The gelato was so smooth and delicious, and there was a big variety of cakes and breads — perfect with coffee.

Is Arbe Wedding Hall in Gangnam worth booking?

I've lost count of how many plates I ate, haha. This was my Arbe Wedding Hall tour, and I got to enjoy some genuinely great food on top of everything else!

To sum it up: if you're an engaged couple looking for a bright wedding hall in the Gangnam area, Arbe seems like a hexagon venue — well-rounded with no weak points. You'll likely be satisfied with the hall, the food, the amenities, and the flow. I wasn't able to reach out ahead of time so I couldn't get a same-day consultation, but if you're weighing your options for a Gangnam wedding hall, I'd definitely recommend considering Arbe!
