Guwol-dong brunch with celebrity autographs, 33,100-won set: Withwich

My mom and I were looking for somewhere to have brunch in Guwol-dong when we found Withwich.

It's known in Guwol-dong, Incheon for its sandwiches, but it also serves pasta, pizza and salads, which is why it's become known as a go-to brunch spot in the neighborhood.

Withwich exterior and entrance

The exterior of Withwich, with its English signage and red brick, gave off the vibe of a little brunch café somewhere in Europe — it was really pretty. The big floor-to-ceiling windows let in plenty of light too.

At the entrance there were Blue Ribbon and Red Ribbon selection marks, which made it clear this was already a pretty well-known spot in Guwol-dong.

At Withwich you can pay easily via kiosk, or order directly with the staff.

There's also a menu set up near the entrance, so it's fine to grab it, find a seat first, and order from there.

What is on the Withwich menu?

Withwich looks like a sandwich specialty shop, but the menu is more varied than expected. Alongside their signature sandwiches, there's ricotta cheese salad, chicken breast salad, pasta and even wood-fired pizza, so you can enjoy everything from brunch to a simple full meal.

Self-serve bar and the celebrity autographs on the wall

Withwich runs its own self-serve bar with water, cups, utensils, napkins and pickles. There were quite a lot of staff for the size of the place — a sign of just how many customers come through.

There were several signatures from famous celebrities on the wall.

Window seats at Withwich and the artificial waterfall view

The huge floor-to-ceiling windows let in great light and a great view, giving the whole place an open, airy feel 👍 The chiffon curtains swayed gently and the atmosphere was lovely.

We sat by the window and it was so pretty — you could even see an artificial waterfall outside haha (the table turnover is really fast!).

After some deliberation, we went with the With Brunch Best Set for Two at ₩33,100.

For the sandwich we picked the best-selling spicy chicken breast sandwich, for the pasta the carbonara cream pasta, and for drinks one hot and one iced Jin Americano ☕️. The food came out on clean ceramic dishes, so the plating looked good overall. The sandwich in particular was packed with filling, which made it great for photos.

Fresh vegetables topped generously with soft, savory ricotta cheese.

Spicy chicken breast sandwich

Loaded with generous chicken breast and fresh vegetables, it looked really appetizing. The chicken had a slightly spicy sauce, and the onions were seasoned with a tangy-sweet sauce that kept me reaching for more. Highly recommend!👍

Carbonara cream pasta

A carbonara with a soft, rich cream sauce and a salty edge. The savory cream sauce coated the noodles well, and it paired nicely with the sandwich.

Americano made with Brazilian beans

An Americano centered more on nutty flavor than acidity. Its subtle coffee aroma and clean finish went well with the meal.

Is Withwich worth it for brunch in Guwol-dong?

It was kind of surprising how many staff were working in the kitchen — everyone was really friendly, and honestly it felt less like a brunch spot and more like a super busy Chinese restaurant. I guess that just shows how many customers come here and how well-known the place is!
