Even until the very last day of a Jeju trip, souvenirs are somehow still stressful to figure out haha 😂

Buying something edible feels a bit too common if it's too ordinary, but bulky souvenirs just become extra luggage — so it's always a dilemma.

This time I stopped by Today Jeju inside Jeju Shilla Duty Free Shop Jeju Branch, and it really nailed the Jeju feel while also being neatly packaged, so it made a great Jeju souvenir.

What Today Jeju's dol hareubang souvenirs look like

Walk into Today Jeju and the first thing that catches your eye is the colorful Harubangne. It's a dessert shaped like Jeju's dol hareubang (stone grandfather) statues, and honestly the shape alone made me think it'd make a great gift.

It really does feel like something you could only buy in Jeju, so if you're looking for a slightly more special Jeju souvenir instead of plain old snacks, this is worth checking out.

Best of all, it's on the 1st floor of Jeju Shilla Duty Free, so it's easy to stop by on your last day while browsing the duty-free shop anyway.

What I bought: the Harubangne 8-flavor gift set, 28,200 won

I went with the signature Harubangne 8-flavor gift set for ₩28,200! I went back and forth between a few options, but since I'd come all the way to Jeju, I wanted to try a little bit of everything, so I chose the 8-flavor set.

The Harubangne 8-flavor set has carrot, fig, black sesame, hallabong, Earl Grey, prickly pear, matcha and chocolate, so even within one box there's fun in picking which one to eat next. Each flavor comes in a different color too, so the box looks pretty the moment you open it, and with the dol hareubang shape on top, it really felt like a proper Jeju travel gift.

Rather than a set with just one flavor, getting to try several different ones felt nicer for sharing with family or bringing into the office.

Is the box gift-ready without extra wrapping?

When I buy souvenirs while traveling, I pay a lot of attention to packaging, not just taste — and with the Harubangne gift set, the box itself already looks clean, so there's no need to wrap it separately; you can just hand it over as is. The dol hareubang shape gives it a clear Jeju feel and it photographs cute too, so it's a bit different from your typical Jeju snack!
