Hi, this is Shushu ( ⸝⸝•ᴗ•⸝⸝ )੭˒˒ The weather's been so nice lately that I keep heading to Hongdae for dates or little outings! If you've been around Hongik University Station, you know there are so many hot spots that it's hard to pick where to actually get a proper dessert, right? Especially a soufflé that melts in your mouth — that's a dessert you rarely see at cafés — so this time I found a real soufflé spot in Hongdae and I'm bringing you the review right away (,,> <,,)♡

The place I fell for this time is Think Fruit's Hongdae branch! I mapped it and walked over, and it's not far from the station at all, so it's a super accessible café near Hongik University Station.

How big and bright is the Think Fruit room, and do photos turn out?
The moment I opened the door and stepped inside Think Fruit's Hongdae branch, I was surprised at how spacious and brightly the interior was decorated.

The floor-to-ceiling windows let in gorgeous natural light, and the lighting is pretty too, so photos come out amazingly well!

It's the perfect vibe for Instagram-worthy shots or selfies — I felt my mood lighten the moment I walked in ദ് ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )

The space itself is spacious and comfortable, making it perfect for chatting with a group of friends or for a date with your partner.

I heard their peach menu, in season for summer, is famous, and sure enough there was a pile of peaches stacked in a corner of the store 🍑🍑

What we ordered at Think Fruit and what it cost
I ordered the signature-looking peach soufflé that's apparently the hottest item these days, along with peach oolong tea which is said to pair perfectly with it, plus an Americano!

Peach soufflé ₩22,000 / Peach oolong tea ₩7,000 / Americano ₩5,500

The visuals look like a painting, don't they? It was plated so beautifully it felt almost a shame to eat, so I think I took about a hundred photos before digging in › ̫‹

Firm and soft peach on one plate: how does the peach soufflé taste?
When I poked it with a fork, the bread was so fluffy and soft that it melted the moment it hit my mouth — such a satisfying texture ( ˃᷄˶˶̫˶˂᷅ ) 💗

But the best part is that the peach soufflé comes with both ddakbok (firm peach) and mulbok (soft peach) on the same plate!

So whether you're firmly team firm-peach or team soft-peach, there's no need to fight — everyone can happily enjoy the best sweetness (*•؎ •)ペ

On top of that, the soft yellow peach had its pit removed and was generously filled with rich, thick Greek yogurt inside — a pleasant surprise.

And with sweet, cold ice cream served alongside too, the combination is an absolute cheat code (*ꈍ꒳ꈍ*)

The sweetness of the peach juice, the plain richness of the Greek yogurt, and the coolness of the ice cream all come together with the soft soufflé bread, so it wasn't overly sweet — just the right pleasant level of sweetness.

Even people who normally don't like overly sweet things would have to admit this is delicious and finish it without a single complaint ◜◡◝
The fruit's sweetness and the overall quality were top-notch, and with nothing lacking in visuals, taste, or the café's atmosphere, it didn't feel like a waste of money.

Do peach oolong tea and Americano go with the soufflé?
The drinks I had to wash things down with at Think Fruit were surprisingly clean and refreshing, beyond what I expected.

The peach oolong tea had a subtle peach aroma drifting through with a clean finish, and the Americano had deep bean flavor too, pairing perfectly with the sweetness of the soufflé!

Would we go back to Think Fruit? Next time, the fig soufflé
If you're looking for a proper fruit dessert spot near Hongdae, or a pretty dessert café to find your life-best soufflé, I recommend Think Fruit 🍑

The fig soufflé, made with summer fruit, looks pretty and distinctive too, so I'm planning to come back and keep checking off desserts (ง˙∇˙)ว
