I was looking for a Hongdae dessert café around 7pm on a Sunday and stopped by Think Fruit. Even from outside, I could see the place was packed with customers.

Even in the evening, there were a lot of customers inside and not many empty tables. Every table had people enjoying coffee and dessert, and new customers kept coming in.

That day I ordered the peach soufflé for 22,000 won, an iced Americano for 5,500 won, and a caffe latte for 6,000 won. I chose the peach soufflé since it's the main item here.

The menu I was most looking forward to that day was the peach soufflé. The moment it arrived, the visual was amazing!!!

It's priced at 22,000 won, and the plate came with a thick soufflé and peach together, looking delicious from the first glance.

When I put my fork in, it split apart softly without much effort, and the inside was moist and light. Unlike a regular pancake, it wasn't dense at all — the fluffy, airy texture really came through.

After eating the peach soufflé, a sip of this cleaned up the lingering sweetness in my mouth and made me reach for the soufflé again. The coffee balanced things out between the peach's sweetness and the soufflé's soft flavor, making it a good pairing to order together.

Caffe latte at 6,000 won: the softer pairing

The caffe latte is 6,000 won. It's more savory and smooth than the iced Americano, and it felt comforting when paired with the moist soufflé.

The peach's sweetness didn't stand out too strongly, and alternating between soufflé and latte made for a smooth combination overall.

When you want soufflé rather than cake in Hongdae

There are plenty of cafés in Hongdae selling cake or baked goods, but Think Fruit is the one that comes to mind when you're craving a fluffy soufflé.

There were plenty of customers even at 7pm on a Sunday, and it was a good spot to slowly enjoy peach soufflé with coffee. In particular, adding peach on top of the soufflé brought a sweet, refreshing flavor that made it the most memorable item I ordered that day.
