Changwon brunch café: banana pudding and Ethiopian drip, Teuwaetmoa

Went to a pretty new café with a friend after a long while. Going to a café on a weekday afternoon made me so happy hahahahahaha

Where Teuwaetmoa Changwon Branch is and when it opens

Teuwaetmoa Changwon Branch is at 42-1 Cheonju-ro 12beon-gil, Uichang-gu, Changwon, Gyeongnam, 1st floor. Open 12:00–19:00, closed every Thursday. Wi-Fi and mobile payment available.

To get there, pass the Uichang-dong Community Center and keep going straight toward Mongmin-jeong. There's a public parking lot in front of the store.

These days I'm more drawn to cafés where you can eat a good brunch instead of just drinking coffee. So this time I went looking for a spot in Changwon where I could relax over brunch, and ended up at Teuwaetmoa Changwon Branch.

Inside Teuwaetmoa: atmosphere and seating

Teuwaetmoa Changwon Branch is small but has a comfortable vibe you can sit in for a long time. I looked around the store as soon as I arrived, and the atmosphere overall was relaxing, good for lingering. Great for catching up with a friend, and also great for a Changwon date over brunch with a partner. It's such a cute, cozy café.. ❤️

The four items we ordered at Teuwaetmoa

There's a menu at every table, so we sat comfortably and picked what we wanted. We ordered corn bacon French toast, banana pudding, drip coffee, and an iced latte.

Ethiopian drip coffee

Teuwaetmoa Changwon Branch has two kinds of drip coffee. My friend went with the Ethiopian.

Oh, it looked so pretty... Nice to taste the distinct aroma and flavor of drip coffee, different from a regular Americano. Sipping it between bites of sweet dessert cleaned up my palate really well!

Iced café latte

With so many sweet items on the table, the clean-tasting drip coffee paired especially well, and the latte was smooth and nutty, nice to enjoy alongside dessert.

Corn bacon French toast

The dish I was most excited about that day was the corn bacon French toast. Corn and bacon on top of the French toast — even the look promises that sweet-and-salty combo haha

Ugh... this is seriously delicious. I think I'll order this again next time. So good, truly.

Banana pudding worth taking home

The banana pudding we ordered for dessert. I personally love banana desserts so I had high hopes for this one too, and it was soft and sweet, perfect after the meal. The banana's distinct sweet flavor combined with the pudding's soft texture just melted in my mouth.

Which Teuwaetmoa dish stuck with me most

Out of everything we had at Teuwaetmoa Changwon Branch, the corn bacon French toast was definitely the most memorable. The soft, moist French toast with the sweetness of corn and the saltiness of bacon made for a great sweet-and-salty combo. Ordering the banana pudding alongside it makes for a satisfying pairing if you like sweet desserts. My friend liked the banana pudding so much she ordered an extra one to pack and take home ~~ ^_^

Teuwaetmoa Changwon Branch was a great place to relax and enjoy brunch, dessert, and coffee all at once. In particular, the corn bacon French toast, with sweet corn and salty bacon on soft French toast, made for a delicious sweet-and-salty combo, and adding the banana pudding completed a properly sweet brunch time!
