Stroller brunch in Gwangalli with a bacon egg roll: Famous Benny

In short

Famous Benny Gwangalli Branch is a brunch café in Minnak-dong, Suyeong-gu, Busan. We parked at the Minnak Sea Land Market public parking lot, a flat one-minute walk away, pushed the stroller straight in, and ordered grilled mushroom toast, bacon scramble toast, a bacon egg roll, and two Americanos. Easy parking and mild, non-spicy seasoning made Famous Benny a satisfying half-day outing with a baby.

If you're looking for a place near Gwangalli Beach where you can eat comfortably with a baby, you can't skip Famous Benny — no parking stress, and the food isn't heavily seasoned! Parking, the biggest hurdle when going out with kids, is solved neatly here thanks to the Minnak Sea Land Market (민락씨랜드시장) public parking lot, just a 1-minute walk from the café. No need to wander complicated alleys — pay the cheap public rate, then roll the stroller straight in along a flat path. Honestly the best route logistics I've experienced.

The biggest advantage here is that you can park at the Minnak Sea Land Market public parking lot and reach the café in just 1 minute. Most hot spots near Gwangalli either lack dedicated parking or charge steep private lot fees, which usually leaves you anxious the whole meal.

But since this place uses the market's public parking zone, the base rate is cheap, and finding space was relatively easy even with lots of baby gear or when unloading the stroller. No crowded crosswalks or narrow hills to cross — just flat ground straight to the café, saving energy right from the start of the outing.

Inside Famous Benny: a calm, warm wood-toned space

Wood-toned interior of Famous Benny

Walking in, we were greeted by a clean, visually comforting wood-toned interior. When visiting with a baby, a warm, natural-toned space like this is much more comfortable to linger in than a dark or cold, metal-heavy atmosphere.

Seating area good for family groups

Plenty of locals come here for brunch so it's usually lively, but the tables are spaced well apart and the ceiling height and acoustics don't create too much echo, so it's completely fine for a family to chat while eating. The stylish yet not overly decorated, tidy atmosphere kept things cozy throughout the meal.

The brunch menu at Famous Benny: toasts and a bacon egg roll

Brunch dishes and an Americano set on the table

On this visit we tried grilled mushroom toast, bacon scramble toast, a bacon egg roll, and two Americanos. When choosing a brunch spot I tend to avoid places that only look pretty but skimp on portions or go overboard on seasoning — this one stood out for a hearty lineup that let the ingredients' natural flavors shine.

First, the grilled mushroom toast — the chewy mushroom flavor blended with the crispy bread for deep savory depth.

The bacon scramble toast combined fluffy, soft eggs with salty bacon for a classic brunch taste anyone would like.

A well-shaped bacon egg roll

The bacon egg roll held its shape well, but had a slightly spicy sauce inside, so we couldn't share it with the baby — still, it was tasty for adult tastes.

An Americano served alongside brunch

Paired with a rich, nutty Americano, it cut through the heaviness typical of brunch cleanly, giving good balance to the meal.

Tips before visiting Famous Benny Gwangalli Branch with a stroller

The café atmosphere during brunch peak hours

Because the food quality and atmosphere are both good, crowds tend to gather during weekday lunch hours or the weekend brunch peak (11am–1pm). If you're visiting with a baby and want to minimize waiting, I'd recommend going early right after opening, or after 2pm once the lunch rush has passed. After eating, you can leave your car in the public lot and take a light stroll along Gwangalli Beach or nearby paths — the location is so good it's hard to find a better spot for planning a half-day family outing.
