The full spread: Egg in Hell, two toasts and two drinks
Once everything we ordered was laid out together, the colors were varied and the spread felt pretty substantial. A warm Egg in Hell, two kinds of toast, plus a long black and a blueberry smoothie — it felt like a real meal, way more than just coffee and bread.
Honestly, the best part of brunch is that when you visit with a few people, everyone can order something different and share.

Long black and blueberry smoothie at Famous Benny
For drinks we ordered a long black and a blueberry smoothie. Brunch just isn't complete without coffee, so I paired mine with a clean long black. If you like a strong, bold coffee flavor, the long black is a solid choice alongside a meal.
On the flip side, if you prefer something sweet and refreshing over coffee, the blueberry smoothie works great too. Paired with toast, the smoothie's smooth, soft texture made for a completely different combination from the coffee. If you're visiting with someone whose tastes differ from yours, ordering one of each and sharing isn't a bad idea at all.

Egg in Hell (shakshuka)
Of everything we ordered that day, the Egg in Hell (shakshuka) caught my eye the most. It's a fun-sounding dish on its own, commonly known as shakshuka — eggs cooked together in a tomato-based sauce.
It came out nice and warm, great for dipping bread into, and the flavor of the tomato sauce paired really well with the soft egg. If you want to add something a little different when choosing brunch, Egg in Hell is worth picking.

Bacon scramble toast
Next up was the bacon scramble toast. You can't really talk brunch without toast, right? Crispy toast combined with bacon and scrambled eggs made for a satisfying, meal-worthy bite.
The scramble gave it a soft texture, and the bacon added a nice salty note on top. It paired well alternating with the saucier Egg in Hell, and honestly it was the dish my hand kept reaching for the most that day.

Ham cheese toast
The ham cheese toast is exactly what it sounds like — a classic toast with ham and cheese. The salty ham with melted cheese made for an easy, no-fuss bite, and it fit right in alongside the other dishes on the table.
Between the Egg in Hell, the toasts, and the drinks, there was enough variety to pick whatever suited your taste, and it's the kind of place I'll think of again next time I'm craving brunch in Gwangalli. If you're on the hunt for a brunch spot in Gwangalli, Famous Benny Gwangalli Branch is worth a relaxed meal. 💛
