A few days ago my companion wouldn't stop singing the pizza song, so I finally took them out.

We finally made it to the ultimate American-style pizza spot in Wirye — Jackson Pizza Wirye Branch!!

The second we walked in, the interior was pure American vibes. So hip, haha, hehe.

The space was clean and well kept, so it felt like a great spot for families with kids, a date, or a Wirye brunch outing 🍕 Turns out they're really thorough about hygiene too, from the fridge management to the beer taps — even the stuff customers never see!

Ordering Super Jackson R, coleslaw and Naver coupon fries

With two of us there, we ordered one Super Jackson R size, the house coleslaw salad, and a zero-sugar cola. We also got fries with a Naver coupon.

From the signature Super Jackson with ten toppings, to Five Cheese, to Hawaiian, there were so many delicious American-style pizzas that it was hard to decide!! Since it was just the two of us, we picked one signature Super Jackson R size, plus the house coleslaw salad — made from vegetables prepped in-house and sauce aged 24 hours (a bit of a guilty pleasure, haha) — and a zero cola!! And since I had a Naver coupon, I quietly asked the staff, "Can I use this coupon...?" and successfully scored some fries too 🍟

They also have couple sets and family sets that include spaghetti, so if you're a spaghetti person, that combo might work for you too, haha.

Table setting and what Jackson Pizza serves for free

Every table at Jackson Pizza Wirye Branch comes with hot sauce, parmesan cheese, and crushed red pepper, plus one bottle of water included. After that, water is charged.

The table was neatly set with cutlery, and all the pizza sidekicks were gathered together too!! (Hot sauce, parmesan cheese, crushed red pepper.)

Make sure to read the tips on how to enjoy it best!! (Praise me for ordering the coleslaw, haha, hehe.)

Just a heads-up, one bottle of water is included, and after that it's charged!! Though honestly with pizza, it's cola over water, haha.

The fries we scored with the Naver coupon!! They come lightly seasoned so they're tasty on their own, but of course a heap of ketchup is still the truth!!

Eating the Super Jackson R size straight out of the oven at the restaurant made the dough texture completely different from delivery. They said the dough follows the headquarters' secret recipe, refrigerated and aged for 2 days, then hand-stretched and baked.

Our star of the show, the Super Jackson R size, plus the coleslaw and sauces and pickles, and the whole spread was complete!!

After only ever having it delivered, eating a pizza straight out of the oven at the restaurant showed a real difference in dough texture and how the cheese melted warm and gooey! They said the headquarters' secret recipe dough is refrigerated and aged for 2 days, then hand-stretched and baked — even the edge bubbles were alive, and the dough was crazy crispy-yet-chewy, haha.

And it would be a shame to skip this — the owner here is seriously clever, haha, there are disposable gloves at every table!!! Ah, pizza really does taste best eaten with your hands >_<!!!

And most importantly, you know the ranch sauce is the heart of Jackson Pizza, right? Made in-house with fresh herbs and 7 ingredients, aged for 24 hours — it's genuinely speechless-good. Great for dipping the pizza crust, and unbeatable for dipping fries too, haha.

The 24-hour aged house coleslaw was crisp and refreshing too, cutting right through the richness!!! With that combo, slice after slice disappeared in no time!!

Crispy hot wings, the side we added at Jackson Pizza

After finishing the Super Jackson and fries, we still wanted more, so we added crispy hot wings. They came out so freshly fried that both of us burned the roofs of our mouths.

After demolishing the pizza and fries, we felt like something was still missing, so we added the crispy hot wings as a side and cleaned that up too 🍗 The crispy hot wings came out so freshly fried that my companion and I both burned the roofs of our mouths, haha. Inside the crunchy coating, the spicy wings and drumettes showed themselves off — properly spicy, and perfect with beer!!!!

Pizza with hot wings, and beer on top of that, is a genuinely insane combo, haha. The beer tap was right in view, and you have no idea how hard it was to resist... they even pour draft Budweiser, such an American vibe!!! Haha, next time I'll ditch the car and come back to soak up that vibe fully.

Weekend waits, parking and the verdict on Jackson Pizza Wirye

Jackson Pizza Wirye Branch fills up fast on weekend lunches and can get a wait, so I'd recommend timing your visit around opening. Parking gets 3 hours free with registration, but if you want to enjoy draft Budweiser with your pizza, it's better to come on foot.

My companion sang the pizza song and got me to come along, but in the end I was the one who got excited and went all-in on the full course — freshly baked Super Jackson, fries, and hot wings. If you're visiting on a weekend lunch, I really recommend arriving right at opening time!! Not long after we got seated, the place filled up completely and a wait line formed, haha. Praise me for winning that timing game!!

The dough, aged for 2 days, was crazy crispy-yet-chewy, and the combo of 24-hour aged house ranch sauce with crunchy coleslaw genuinely needs no more words, haha. And I was completely won over by the owner's thoughtfulness of setting out disposable gloves at every table!!! Watching that freshly fried hot wings pass by the draft Budweiser tap while I had to hold back because of the car was practically tears of blood, haha. Next time I'm definitely leaving the car at home and coming back for a full pizza-and-beer party (can't resist trying the new menu items!!).

Bring your Naver coupon for free fries, and since the building is spacious, they'll register your parking for a full 3 hours, so feel free to drive over, haha.
