In short
Tobeu Nain Pangyo Main Branch is a wood-fired pizza and pasta restaurant at 56 Sasong-ro in Sujeong-gu, Seongnam, Gyeonggi. On this repeat visit the order was truffle funghi pizza and myeongnan (seasoned pollack roe) alio olio pasta at 18,900 won with a half-moon focaccia classic, and dipping the focaccia into the roe oil sauce was the highlight of the meal. Aloha~ Today I'm introducing a restaurant I love for its chewy pizza dough and genuinely touching service. It's my return visit to Tobeu Nain Pangyo Main Branch, the number one Western food spot near Pangyo Station, which welcomed me back with the same great taste and outstanding kindness as ever!
Where is Tobeu Nain Pangyo Main Branch, and is there parking?

Tobeu Nain is administratively located in Sujeong-gu, Seongnam, Gyeonggi, but it's only a 5-minute drive from Botdeul-maeul in Pangyo, so accessibility is great. And since there's such a generously sized parking lot in front of the building, there's zero parking stress. It's hard to find a better spot for year-end gatherings or meetups with friends where several people drive separately.

Restaurant on the first floor, café on the second
The store is split between a 1st floor restaurant and a 2nd floor café, and we sat downstairs for our meal. The 1st floor has an open kitchen in a lively, warm atmosphere, so it's fun to watch the wood-fired pizza and pancakes being made.

Upstairs there are well set-up curtained private seats and group rooms, so it's always a comfortable space no matter when you visit.
Why we keep returning to Tobeu Nain: the service
The biggest reason I return to this place is the staff's 'outstanding kindness.' Plenty of places have pretty interiors and tasty food, but places like Tobeu Nain, where you get genuine smiles and consideration from the moment you walk in until you leave after your meal, are rare.

They thoughtfully set up tableware for my child and brought scissors to cut the pizza, and the attentiveness of continually restocking and helping at the self-service bar made the whole stay feel really good. If you're planning a romantic Pangyo pasta date with someone you love, this level of service will boost your satisfaction by 200%!
Tobeu Nain menu highlights and set options
Besides à la carte dishes, Tobeu Nain offers a variety of set menus you can choose based on party size and time of visit. Options range from the 1-person panuozzo set, featuring a Naples-style sandwich made from pizza dough baked in the wood-fired oven, to the excellent-value 2–3 person brunch set available only until 2pm, to the 3–4 person set with 1+ grade Korean beef striploin steak, perfect for a special family gathering. The pasta lineup, packed with a variety of ingredients, and the signature soufflé pancake dessert are also excellent, so be sure to try them together.

Truffle funghi pizza, myeongnan alio olio and half-moon focaccia: the best combo

We ordered the truffle funghi pizza again without fail, since we were so impressed by it last time. True to a place certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN), the chewiness of the dough fresh out of the wood-fired oven is truly a work of art.

With the rich truffle aroma, savory cheese, and chewy dough, it's the kind of addictive flavor that has both kids and adults burying their faces in it.

The pasta we ordered was the 'myeongnan (seasoned pollack roe) alio olio pasta (18,900 won).' It came generously loaded with salty myeongnan, garlic, oil, and plump shrimp, and the umami just exploded! It had a bit of peperoncino, but my child barely found it spicy and ate it happily~

On top of that, ordering the 'half-moon focaccia classic' turned out to be a genius move. It's bread made by cutting chewy pizza dough in half and baking it in the wood-fired oven — it's got that hollow, gonggal-bbang (hollow twisted bread) kind of feel. Dipping this plain, chewy focaccia deep into the salty myeongnan oil pasta sauce was a completely different delicacy from dipping the pizza crust~
Soufflé pancakes made in the open kitchen

While we were enjoying our meal, we got to watch the fluffy soufflé pancakes being baked live in the open kitchen. We were so full this time that we focused only on the main dishes and couldn't order dessert, but watching the batter being mixed to order and carefully baked for 20 minutes made me promise myself I'll definitely have it with coffee next time.
Since you can perfectly handle a meal, dessert, and coffee all in one place, if you're looking for a great Pangyo brunch dessert spot, Tobeu Nain is worth a visit! With its consistently great taste and touching service every time, Tobeu Nain gives you a happy time. Be sure to visit for an upcoming year-end gathering or whenever you want to treat yourself. Mahalo for today!
