A kid's chair was ready for us too, so we could sit comfortably, and I felt this is a place I could recommend without hesitation to families with young kids. Plus, the self-bar meant the kids had a great time with dessert. The tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) was seriously good 👍🏻 And the staff were super, super kind, and the owner was kind too 👍🏻

How were the side dishes, and why Jugeokjip works with kids

He's usually a kid who needs meat cut into small pieces to eat, but this time, cutting it just slightly along the grain was enough for him to chew through easily.

The lettuce wraps served with the pork ribs were fresh too. The lettuce and perilla leaves were crisp, and wrapping them with the meat was the icing on the cake ⭐ My kid preferred the meat itself over wrapping it, so I put pieces of meat on his rice, and since the seasoning itself wasn't harsh, it suited his palate well too.

Overall, it was a place that lived up to its reputation as a Godeok, Pyeongtaek restaurant, with a good balance of taste, service, and atmosphere.
