Today I want to introduce a place I found after a while — perfect for a private, cozy chat with a friend. It's 'Manseokjip Suwon Station Branch,' located near Suwon Station! The private room setup plus genuinely tasty side dishes made it a satisfying visit haha.

Manseokjip Suwon Station Branch has such a varied lineup of soups, stir-fries, and fried dishes that it was fun just picking❗️ After some thought, we ordered fire-grilled dak-bal (spicy grilled chicken feet), pork jowl hot pot (gabrisal suyuk jeongol), and one bottle of Terra beer. The kiosk even has a split-bill calculator, which made settling up easy!

The portions were so generous we briefly worried it might be too much for two people😅

How does the pork jowl suyuk hot pot taste?

The pork jowl hot pot (gabrisal suyuk jeongol) was loaded with vegetables and mushrooms along with the pork jowl, giving the broth a refreshing, clear feel. The boiled pork jowl had zero gamey smell and was so tender that I kept picking at it lol. It was clean and savory, the kind of flavor that should please almost anyone.

Fire-grilled spicy chicken feet with rice and bean sprouts

The fire-grilled dak-bal really lived up to its name, with an intense charred smokiness and spiciness. It comes with rice and bean sprouts, which balanced out the spicy chicken feet nicely and paired well! Beyond the subtle smoky flavor and deliciously spicy seasoning, the chewy, springy texture made it fun to eat, and its punchy flavor made it a perfect drinking snack🍻

Finishing off with the croffle we got from the review event was a nice, refreshing way to wrap up the meal😋 Besides the review event, they also offer special service if you visit on your birthday or an anniversary, so keep that in mind🎉
