Suwon Station bar with tofu and stir-fried pork kimchi: Manseokjip
In short
Manseokjip Suwon Station Branch is an all-private-room bar spread across the entire 2nd and 3rd floors of the central building in Suwon Station's Rodeo street, Gyeonggi. Three friends ordered half a block of tofu with jeyuk kimchi (stir-fried pork with kimchi) and had it in 10 minutes, then refilled the free spicy chicken-leg chips three times. With rooms for 2 to 10 people, Manseokjip is an easy pick when a group wants to sit and talk.

A private-room bar filling two floors on Suwon Station's Rodeo street
Manseokjip is in the Suwon Station Rodeo Center, right across from Hansin Pocha!! It's on floors 2-3, so just walk up the stairs ♥
Inside Manseokjip Suwon Station Branch - the bar has the entire 2nd-3rd floor of the building to itself, so it's really huge. Everything is set up as private rooms, and rooms fit 「2 up to a max of 10」people ♥

There's even a smoking room booth, so you don't have to step outside the building. Restrooms are on the 3rd floor for men and 2nd floor for women.
Tablet ordering and what Manseokjip serves for free
You order at Manseokjip Suwon Station Branch using a tablet - !! The dishes were nicely sorted by category, which I liked ♥ Categories include 「soup/stir-fry/grilled/fried/noodles/simple snacks」— lots of variety.

Once you order, they bring out 「side plates/water/free chips」- !! and there's ice water too. As an ice-water person, that's a big plus for me. The free chips were spicy chicken-leg shaped chips... they were sooo good. I refilled three times (lol).
Tofu with stir-fried pork kimchi, shared between three friends

【Half a block of tofu & jeyuk kimchi (stir-fried spicy pork with kimchi)】 The dish we ordered came out in about 10 minutes ♥ The smoky char on the pork really hit, super appetite-stimulating!?
There was toasty sesame sprinkled on top too, which went great with everything ♥ The tofu got a bit of knife-work from our chopsticks (?). Since there were 3 of us, we split it into 9 pieces.

The tofu was pretty firm too. Apparently the less moisture and the higher the soybean content, the firmer it gets ♥ If it crumbles too easily with chopsticks it gets messy, so having some firmness was nice !! Super nutty and soft too - a perfect match with soju.

The pork wasn't tough either, chewy with the sauce soaked in really well - so delicious. Jeyuk is honestly a soul food for everyone regardless of age or gender.

Wait, but were the spicy chicken-leg chips always this good..(?) I refilled them three times. (I ended up looking them up and ordering some off Coupang after, not-so-secretly.)

We're a flower-garden friend group (don't ask my real name haha), and one friend couldn't make it today which was a bummer, but the three of us had a blast anyway. I haven't been sleeping well lately so I've been craving sugar a lot. It was nice they had Aemong (a fruit soju cocktail) besides just soda for drinks.

We drank lightly(?) to save room for round two. Got hooked on group photos after a friend 10 years younger than me taught me a pose, so we took another one.
Is Manseokjip Suwon Station Branch worth a visit?
Taste ★★★★★ Price ★★★★★ Service ★★★★★
It's easy to find since it's right in the Suwon Station Rodeo Center, and the whole 2nd-3rd floor of the building is Manseokjip, so it's a huge space. It's an all-private-room bar with rooms for 2 up to 10 people!! I heard they also have birthday perks if you visit on your birthday.
Staff were friendly and the place was clean. And even though it doesn't apply to a married woman like me, apparently it's a bar where you can meet people too. Young Gen Z types, go have fun there! Us old-timers (lol) had our own fun, but walking past on the way to the restroom, it definitely looked lively haha.
The food was so good, and the coupon and review events were nice too, and since it's a private room it's really easy to talk - I got to catch up with friends I hadn't seen in a while, and we could actually focus on conversation and had a great time. 100% would come back.
Today's TMI

I cut my bangs. Yeah, you can't really tell, but that's the thing about women - the moment your hair gets touched up you have to take a selfie. That's me. Also, I really love people with dimples, so I tried forcing one myself. Yeah... that's basically just a wrinkle (?).
Anyway, friends, what phones do you use? 「Galaxy user or iPhone user」I've only ever used Galaxy my whole life, and I was suddenly curious. Was wondering what everyone shoots their posts with, hehe.
