Yangsan Western restaurant with high chairs and baby dishes: Bueokgan

As a pro-outing family, we've been busy going on outings every weekend lately~~! Yesterday we went to a Yangsan restaurant and Yangsan café haha

The Yangsan restaurant we visited was Bueokgan Restaurant, located inside Oslo Park in Yangsan

Parking at Oslo Park and what kids can do there

Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch is on the basement floor of Oslo Park in Mulgeum, Yangsan. Inside Oslo Park there's an animal feeding experience and a kids' café with lots to do, so it's a great place to visit with a child. Parking is always a worry when driving, but there's a dedicated parking lot, so parking was easy!

What Bueokgan Restaurant looks like inside

Bueokgan Restaurant, famous for lunch near Namyangsan Station, was designed with inspiration from Sweden's national art museum — high ceilings, luxurious furniture, an exotic feeling filled the whole space~!

It really didn't feel like coming to a restaurant to eat — it felt like visiting a museum or an art gallery!!

The vintage display cabinets and decor pieces scattered around were each stylish in their own way, and every table had a different feel, so I wanted to sit everywhere hahaha

We spent quite a while looking around and taking photos before eating haha. Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch is great for a family meal with a baby, but it would also be perfect for a couple's date spot!

Is Bueokgan Restaurant good with a baby?

Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch had plenty of baby chairs on hand, and they even prepared baby tableware for us! It was a great restaurant for eating out with a baby, and a great Namyangsan lunch spot too! haha

Orders go through the table order tablet installed at each table! After eating, you go to the counter near the entrance to pay!

Three pastas and risottos, 18,000–20,000 won

• Shrimp Anchovy Oil Pasta ₩18,000
• Seafood Tomato Pasta ₩19,000
• Abalone Cream Risotto ₩20,000

Just like you'd expect from a famous Namyangsan Station lunch spot, the Western-style spread came out beautifully!

There were so many delicious menu items that I wanted to order the salad, steak, pizza, and more, but I had to hold back since we still needed dinner at home haha

All three dishes were delicious, but personally the abalone cream risotto was my #1!!!!!

Abalone cream risotto, 20,000 won

The abalone cream risotto is packed with abalone meat, so you get a lot of chewy abalone bites, and the abalone paired really well with the cream?

Even though it's a cream risotto, it wasn't heavy at all — just nutty and clean-tasting!!

Seafood tomato pasta, 19,000 won

The seafood tomato pasta has shrimp, littleneck clams, and green mussels for seafood, and the tangy-sweet tomato sauce was rich and delicious!!

If you love seafood and also love a good basic tomato sauce, I recommend the seafood tomato pasta — it has just the right amount of savory depth!

Shrimp anchovy oil pasta, 18,000 won

The shrimp anchovy oil pasta is a signature Bueokgan dish made from the combination of shrimp and anchovy

The plump, springy shrimp paired really well with the salty anchovy oil sauce, and it was even a little spicy, so you could eat it without feeling heavy!
