Green-view Seongsu café for iced hand-drip and tomato juice: T Coffee

I was looking for a café in busy Seongsu where I could sit quietly and focus on the taste of the coffee. And that's how I found this place, a hideout tucked away in a basement — T Coffee. Here's my honest review after spending some fully-mine time with delicious coffee!!

Where is T Coffee, and what are its hours?

A Seongsu basement café that feels open, thanks to the green window view

T Coffee sits in the basement level (B1) of a building just a short walk from Seongsu Station Exit 2. I expected a basement to feel stuffy, but instead the green view through the floor-to-ceiling window made it feel cozy and surprisingly open.

With its clean, modern interior and calm mood, it looked like a great spot to come alone to read or work.

What we ordered at T Coffee

True to its reputation as a coffee spot, T Coffee had a variety of beans ready to brew. We ordered a dessert alongside our coffee too.

Iced hand-drip coffee with Ethiopian natural beans

T Coffee's hand-drip uses Ethiopian natural beans, apparently. Watching the owner carefully brew the coffee made even the waiting time enjoyable.

One sip and a bright acidity along with a clean taste filled my mouth. Even after time passed and the ice melted, the flavor didn't change — if anything, different notes came through. Good coffee really is different. Next time I'll have to try it hot.

Chocolate sand cookie

The sand cookie had rich chocolate sandwiched between crisp cookies. Not too sweet, with a refined taste. It paired perfectly with the fragrant coffee.

Iced latte

T Coffee's latte apparently uses beans with a bright acidity as a base. Maybe that's why the finish was clean and never heavy. An appealing balance of nutty milk and crisp coffee.

Tomato juice blended to order

A friend who doesn't drink coffee ordered the tomato juice. They ground fresh tomatoes to order right on the spot. No artificial syrupy taste — just the tomato's own healthy, refreshing flavor, unfiltered.

How to enjoy T Coffee with Superchart

I visited T Coffee this time through 'Superchart.' It's a great way to get the chance to experience cafés and restaurants you've been wanting to try — one more little tip.

Of course this was an experience visit, but the taste, atmosphere, and hospitality were all so satisfying that I feel like I found a genuinely great spot I'd want to pay for and return to on my own. Among the countless cafés in Seongsu, I feel proud to have found a hideout I want to keep to myself.

Is T Coffee worth a visit in Seongsu?

T Coffee was a place where I could step away from the noise of Seongsu and fully enjoy the leisure of a single cup of coffee. Delicious coffee, a quiet atmosphere, and a kind owner too.

I'd recommend T Coffee when you need time alone, or when you want to have a quiet conversation with someone good.
