Suwon Korean BBQ for wedding-invitation gatherings: Olheun Gogi

I was soooo happy with the beef on my last visit, so this time I came for pork! We had a wedding-invitation gathering at Olheun Gogi near Mangpo Station, and the set was so well put together and polished that I think it would be great for this kind of get-together too 👰🏻🧡

Inside Olheun Gogi near Mangpo Station and the gathering atmosphere

They are open from 12:00 to 03:00 Monday through Saturday and from 12:00 to 22:00 on Sundays, and parking is available in front of the restaurant.

I made a reservation and visited on a Friday evening. Olheun Gogi is spacious inside and has lots of tables. There is group seating too, so it is perfect for gatherings or company dinners 👍🏻

It was clean and well maintained overall, with just the right atmosphere for a wedding-invitation gathering near Mangpo Station! A little after 8, it filled up and got lively. I like that kind of atmosphere, haha.

Set menus that are easy to order for a group

There are several set menus, including the Olheun Beef Full Table Set, Olheun Pork Full Table Set, and Brisket Three-Way Combo Beef Tartare Set, so you can order according to your group size! More than anything, I really love the set composition here... The sets make this a great place to come with several people.

The side dishes—kimchi, pickled vegetables, cucumber pickles, garlic, and sauces—were all great accompaniments to the meat.

The Olheun Pork Full Table Set for three

The three of us visited and ordered the Olheun Pork Full Table Set. It included Korean pork, Hanwoo beef tartare, grilling cheese, and steamed egg!!!

The meat came in different cuts, and there was quite a lot of it...!!! It was enough for three of us to get really full. The meat was fresh and thick, and it looked delicious even before cooking!!! It also came with grilled vegetables: mushrooms, onion, garlic scapes, and kabocha squash.

The staff grill the meat to make it easy to eat

Olheun Gogi is a place where the staff grill the meat for you~! They cooked it to a perfect eating doneness, so we could just chat while we waited. We had not seen each other in ages, so there was a mountain of things to talk about,,

A whole grill full of beautifully cooked meat—now all we had to do was eat. There was still plenty left to cook, yet this was already so much. It was more than enough for three. I personally like my meat cut small, so I cut mine up again,,,, Bigger pieces than I expected!

It was a shame that my teacher could not drink, but cheers, cheers. I recommend Olheun Gogi for a Mangpo Station wedding-invitation gathering!! I was happy with the price, atmosphere, and quality—all of it >< The meat was delicious, the place was lively, drinks went down easily, and we could talk comfortably too.

Grilling cheese and Hanwoo beef tartare too

A staff member put the grilling cheese on too, melted it just enough, and placed it on the meat, haha. They told us this was the tasty way to eat it before leaving. It really was more delicious together,, 😋 The set is so good. The grilling cheese is honestly the key, haha. It is savory and delicious. I do not know whether it is available separately, but if you do not order the set, I recommend adding the cheese.

Hanwoo beef tartare came with it too. When you start to get tired of grilled meat, having this raw meat is light and just right 😋 Maybe because it was Hanwoo tartare, but even its color looked different... Served so neatly like this, it tasted even more upscale. The meat was so fresh and pleasantly chewy; personally, I really loved the tartare >< With Hanwoo tartare, grilled meat, steamed egg, and grilling cheese, the set is so, so substantial, and you can keep enjoying something new as you eat, haha.

I have been busy with wedding-invitation gatherings lately and wondering where to go, so I was so happy to find such a delicious place nearby. The meat, steamed egg, Hanwoo tartare, and grilling cheese were all so tasty, and I was glad my friends liked them too. It is a great atmosphere for drinks and conversation, so I highly recommend it for a gathering, company dinner, or a Mangpo Station wedding-invitation gathering. We ate so well and left completely full -! 👍🏻😊
