It's in the basement of an office building surrounded by companies, so it's perfect for a workday lunch. The location is super convenient to get to, whether you're coming from nearby offices or just strolling around. It's an easy walk from the subway too, so it works well for meeting up with people. If you're wandering the alleys of Seongsu-dong and want a quick bite, this is a great stop!

I walked over that day and headed straight down the stairs to the basement level! Once you're down there, you'll first spot a coffee shop — don't worry, just walk past it and keep going inward, and the pizza shop appears!

True to its status as a hidden Seongsu-dong favorite, there's real fun in tracking down this little hideaway. The savory smell of American pizza was already drifting out from the entrance.

By the time I arrived at Pizza Slice Seoul it was nearly closing time, so the whole place was very quiet! I imagine during lunch rush or weekend peak hours it's a lively, hip scene.

Visiting so late meant there weren't many slices left in the showcase, which was a bit disappointing! Still, I picked whatever looked good from what remained and dug in quickly.

It's a totally comfortable spot for a quiet solo meal in Seongsu — no pressure at all!

I get that this fits the current Seongsu vibe, but it would've been more convenient to also have a Korean menu. That part was a bit of a letdown, but the hip American pizza feel of Seongsu was definitely there!

Prices run a bit high for slice pizza, but a set with a cold drink starts in the ₩10,000s, which isn't bad given Seongsu-dong's cost of living! A simple but satisfying pizza combo.

With closing time near, there weren't many options left, so I made the most of what remained! I ordered one potato pizza slice, one mushroom pizza slice, and a garlic bread. The popular slices were already sold out, so next time I'll definitely come earlier in the day.

Everything came out warmed up and hot pretty quickly!

The potato pizza had thinly sliced potatoes piled generously on top and baked. I really love potato pizza in general, and this one wasn't too salty — light and savory, right up my alley!

The mushroom pizza was piled so high with mushrooms that they were the first thing you noticed!

If you're not into mushrooms, the look of it might put you off, but if you love mushrooms, the deep flavor will win you over! The healthy mushroom flavor was nice, but it was a little salty for my taste — I think it would go perfectly with a beer.

Garlic bread: real garlic, not the sweet kind

Finally, the garlic bread was a totally different flavor from the sweet garlic bread I was expecting!

The bread itself was super chewy, but since I'm not a big garlic fan, it was a little much for me.

But if you love real, strong garlic flavor, you'll probably enjoy this a lot!
