The six signature sauces and the side dish spread
As soon as I sat down, the basic side dishes came out along with six signature sauces: lettuce stem gungchae, roasted peanuts, herb cumin, the lamb boiled-meat sauce, wasabi mayo, and BBQ sauce! The lamb boiled-meat sauce, said to be Yangmadam's signature, had a subtle savory depth that paired really well with the meat. Minari and chives are refillable up to twice, so you can enjoy plenty of them 😣🖤
What the 59,000-won boiled lamb rib set for two is like
I ordered the boiled lamb rib set for two (₩59,000) and mala bibimbap (₩5,000)! The set comes with boiled lamb rib (small) + fried dumplings + spicy lamb hot pot. The main boiled lamb rib had no gamey smell at all and was clean-tasting; wrapped with chives and a spicy sauce, it went down bite after bite. Apparently they use young lamb from a clean-air region of Australia, and the texture was so, so tender 🙃 Meltingly soft — you could practically eat it without teeth ☺️
Boiled lamb + chives + the signature lamb sauce combo is a knockout
The fried dumplings were sweet and genuinely delicious. Next time I'll order a separate portion of just those haha ❤️🔥
Spicy lamb hot pot and 5,000-won mala bibimbap
The spicy lamb hot pot included in the set is 100% lamb-broth based, with a spicy yet deep flavor that stood out. It felt like eating something restorative — totally revitalizing! I'd recommend it to anyone who needs a hangover cure too.
I can't handle spicy food well, so I asked for the mala sauce on the side for the bibimbap (rice mixed with toppings)... but even if you can't handle spice, you really need to add the mala sauce haha. Once I mixed it in, it felt like traveling to a different country! Absolutely delicious!

If you're looking for a great restaurant in Jeongja-dong, Bundang — especially if you searched for lamb near Jeongja Station — I'd highly recommend Yangmadam Bangchon Lamb, Bundang Direct Branch. The good-value set menus make it easy for group dinners or gatherings without breaking the bank, and free corkage makes it even more appealing for anyone who likes to drink.
