Flowerpot Cafe by Mulwang Reservoir in Siheung. Life had been feeling a bit too routine lately, so I took a spontaneous trip out to the suburbs to shake things off! I went looking for somewhere I could unwind by an open stretch of water, and settled on Mulwang Reservoir, a spot I'd had my eye on for a while :) While looking for a café to enjoy a relaxed drive around, I found Flowerpot Cafe! In today's post I'll cover everything from the menu to my visit review of Flowerpot Cafe & Bakery by Mulwang Reservoir in Siheung.

Where is Flowerpot Cafe & Bakery, and where do you park?

The thing I liked most was the spacious parking! Even as a beginner driver, the generous parking lines made it fairly easy for me to park. With Lot 1 near the store and Lot 2 along the road, there's no need to worry about parking if you drive over :)

What each floor looks like, from the first-floor terrace to the rooftop

Flowerpot Cafe spans three floors: the 1st floor is a terrace space, the 2nd floor has the bakery counter and ordering counter, and the 3rd floor has quiet seating and a rooftop terrace. Each floor has its own mood, which makes exploring the place fun.

The 1st floor is set up as a terrace space with an open, airy feel. Plants placed throughout the space gave it a comfortable interior that felt like being surrounded by nature :)

On the 2nd floor, a bright, elaborate bakery counter runs down the center, greeting you along with the ordering counter. With 4- and 8-person tables set up, it's a popular spot for groups since there's plenty of room.

The 3rd floor was a relatively quiet, relaxed space! There's a rooftop terrace too, which seemed like a great spot for a cup of tea outdoors on days when it isn't too hot.

What's on the Flowerpot bakery display and drink menu?

On Flowerpot's 2nd-floor counter, you'll find everything from plain classics like mont blanc, salt bread, and pastries to dessert breads loaded with cream. Drinks cover coffee, non-coffee lattes, smoothies, ades, teas, and fresh fruit juices.

From plain classics like mont blanc, salt bread, and pastries to dessert breads packed with sweet cream! There's such a wide variety that you end up standing there with the tongs, deliberating for ages 😂

The breads were kept spotlessly, which built trust right away — and they looked mouthwatering from the start 🤤

The drink lineup to pair with the breads was also really varied — coffee, non-coffee lattes, smoothies, ades, teas, fresh fruit juices, and more. Fresh fruit juice is great for kids, while things like honey hallabong citrus tea or lemon ginger tea suit adult tastes — good for a visit with anyone, any age!

In this kind of hot weather, cool bingsu (shaved ice) really hits the spot too! With red bean, mango, and injeolmi bingsu varieties, it looked great for sharing with a group.

Corn cream bread and blueberry cream cheese bread with decaf coffee

The menu we picked at Flowerpot was blueberry cream cheese bread and corn cream bread, plus a decaf americano and a decaf café latte — a combo you can enjoy without worry even in the evening.

Table with ordered bread and decaf coffee

We picked out the blueberry cream cheese bread and corn cream bread from the counter, and ordered a decaf americano and decaf café latte to go with them, so we could enjoy it worry-free in the evening :)

With one bite, sweet and soft corn cream spreads through your mouth! The little pops of corn kernels in the cream make for a fun texture — nutty yet with a sweet-salty flavor that clings to your palate, the kind of taste everyone from kids to adults would like!

The chewy bread dough is generously packed with blueberry cream cheese! The richness of the cream cheese and the freshness of the blueberry balance each other out, keeping what could be a heavy flavor nicely in check -

Decaf americano next to cream bread

Sweet bread with coffee, need I say more — it's an especially perfect match with the sweet cream breads :) I've been disappointed before visiting independent cafés that don't carry decaf beans, so it was great that Flowerpot Cafe had decaf available.

Hot decaf café latte topped with milk foam

The hot café latte had soft, nutty milk foam that suited my taste well! A pass even for someone who doesn't know much about coffee ✨
