Cheongdam Jokbal Gwanggyo Sanghyeon Branch: a jokbal restaurant with outdoor tables near Sanghyeon Station
Cheongdam Jokbal Gwanggyo Sanghyeon Branch (청담족발 광교상현점) is a jokbal restaurant near Sanghyeon Station with outdoor tables for al fresco dining. Parking is available too, so it's not just us — a lot of other people come here as well haha!!

I think this is honestly the best weather of the whole year right now. On days like this, eating outdoors is even better!! Drinks and food with a cool breeze just feels so much nicer. We had dinner at Cheongdam Jokbal, a jokbal restaurant near Sanghyeon Station with outdoor seating.
It's also super close to Sanghyeon Station, so it's easy to get to by subway.
Can you pay with digital Onnuri vouchers at Cheongdam Jokbal?
Cheongdam Jokbal Gwanggyo Sanghyeon Branch accepts digital Onnuri gift certificates. A lot of you probably have Onnuri certificates left over from buying appliances at Samsung recently — you can come use them on jokbal here too.

Cheongdam Jokbal menu and drinks list
There are three types of jokbal on the menu: freshly boiled warm jokbal, flame-grilled bulljokbal, and BBQ seasoned grilled jokbal. For bossam (boiled pork wraps), there's tender bossam, sweet honey garlic bossam, and BBQ flame-grilled salted pork. You can also order jokbal and bossam together as a set, and the sides include makguksu and seaweed rice balls.
There's a good variety of drinks too — Neurin Maeul four-season makgeolli, Yantai gaoliang liquor, and bokbunja (raspberry wine).

Three outdoor tables and indoor group seating at Cheongdam Jokbal
Cheongdam Jokbal Gwanggyo Sanghyeon Branch has both indoor and outdoor seating. Indoors there's a spacious area big enough for group dining.
Outdoors there are three tables. We sat down first, and — I guess because the weather was perfect for outdoor dining — the other two tables filled up with customers right after us.

The basic table setting is laid out so neatly. Kimchi, dried radish strips, and garlic as side dishes, plus three kinds of sauce — ssamjang and others! The jokbal or bossam you order gets placed right in the middle. Since we came with a kid, they even gave us a separate fork~

Freshly boiled warm jokbal (medium) with seaweed rice balls
We ordered the freshly boiled warm jokbal, and apparently they give you free makguksu when you order jokbal~! The portion is really generous too!! This is what a medium size looks like. It's good for two people, and even with a kid eating too, there's still plenty!!
When we come with our kid, we always order the seaweed rice balls to share, since our kid eats them so well that we get them every time. You put on plastic gloves and mix it up well — just be careful, it's hot. Once you mix the seaweed flakes and rice well and shape it into a rice ball, our kid really eats it up~!! It's great because I get to eat too while that's happening.

Free makguksu that comes with every jokbal order
And here's the free makguksu!! The portion is generous too. You mix in the sauce and lettuce well before eating — the makguksu is genuinely cool and delicious!! It suits eating outdoors in the crisp fall air so well.

Is Cheongdam Jokbal's tender jokbal good for kids?
The jokbal is delicious dipped in ssamjang, and just as good wrapped in lettuce with dried radish strips. Maybe because it's freshly boiled, the meat is so tender and tasty. Being soft makes it easy for kids to eat, and knowing they boil the jokbal fresh every single day makes it taste even better.

Flame-grilled salted BBQ pork, served free at the end
We were eating so happily when the owner brought out BBQ flame-grilled salted pork as a free extra~!! Service like this is just so nice. It has that strong BBQ smoky flavor, and the saltiness of the salted grilling style suits it really well.
They take such good care of you with extras, the food is delicious, the portions are big, and you get to eat while enjoying the cool outdoor breeze — this Gwanggyo Sanghyeon Station favorite, Cheongdam Jokbal!!! If you're looking for a spot to eat outdoors in weather like this, I really recommend it~!! It's also so close to Sanghyeon Station that if you're heading home on the Sinbundang Line, it's worth stopping by here to eat first~!! Come use your Onnuri certificate on jokbal!~
