Yeonnam-dong restaurant with no weekend wait at 7pm: Hôtel de Couture

Went on a date with Bambi in Yeonnam-dong today, and while looking for a good-vibe Western restaurant nearby, I found Hôtel de Couture!!

We ate the pasta and risotto and loved them so much I had to bring you our weekend evening visit review hahaha

Where is Hôtel de Couture, and where do you park in Yeonnam-dong?

Hôtel de Couture sits right in the center of Yeonnam-dong! There are two parking spots right next to the restaurant, but with only two spots it seemed hard to actually snag one, so we used the public parking lot nearby instead!

The moment we walked in, I was blown away by how clean and neat the interior was hahaha

There's a table that seats 7 together, which would be great for a family gathering or a group meetup! If you're looking for a Western restaurant in Yeonnam-dong where several people can gather, Hôtel de Couture would be perfect!

Overall it's wood and green tones throughout, so it felt like being in Europe hahaha. We visited at 7pm on the weekend, and luckily got in with no wait!

You order via the QR code on the table! No need to call over staff, you can just browse the menu and order at your own pace — really convenient

What we ordered at Hôtel de Couture: jambon cream risotto and bacon rosé pasta

We ordered the jambon cream risotto and the bacon rosé pasta! (Looking at reviews, these two seem to be the most popular menu items!)

The dishes came out looking so gorgeous we gasped right away... If you love rich, thick Western food, this visual will blow your mind!!

How does the bacon rosé pasta taste?

This is the rosé pasta — it came with a ton of sauce, packed with thick, well-cooked bacon, and topped generously with cheese!

Every delicious ingredient was in there, so the moment it arrived we were already so excited hahahahaha

The moment we twirled up a bite and ate it, both our eyes went completely round!!! Really thick and rich but not greasy, with a slightly spicy rosé flavor!! It would go perfectly with wine >ㅁ< (so disappointing that we drove and couldn't drink ㅠㅠㅠ)

Bambi is a huge rosé pasta fan and said this pasta is seriously so good hahahaha. She's already saying we should come back for our anniversary!!!!

Jambon truffle cream risotto: Western-style rice with a firm bite

Since I'm a die-hard cream risotto fan, I focused all my attention on this one!! It didn't taste like the Korean-style version — it felt made completely in Western style, so the rice grains had a proper chew instead of turning mushy!

Such tender jambon, plus cream, truffle, and even egg yolk... every delicious ingredient in the world was packed in here!

They say if it looks good it tastes good, and this visual really made my mouth water

There's plenty of finely diced bacon mixed into the risotto too! With just the right amount of nutty truffle, and eating it topped with bacon, egg yolk, and jambon together — this place was truly heaven...

When it starts feeling a little rich, this pickle brings you right back for more!!!!!! Genuinely one of the best Western meals I've had recently hahahahaha (now I get why it's so famous!!)

Should you book ahead at Hôtel de Couture?

From what I've heard, there's usually a bit of a wait, so I'd recommend reserving ahead of time!! If you're looking for genuinely delicious Western food in Yeonnam-dong, a nice-vibe date spot, or a place for a blind date!!! Highly recommend Hôtel de Couture!!
