Unlike a typical bakery café, this place lets you enjoy a wide garden and outdoor space together, so the atmosphere was pretty striking from the moment I arrived. That day I picked out cheesecake and tiramisu to go with my coffee and took my time enjoying a leisurely dessert break.

There's salt bread along with various other breads and cakes, and each one was impressively good quality — I was satisfied.

The outdoor tables are great, but the indoor space is really nice too, since the floor-to-ceiling windows let you see the scenery outside. With its cozy wood-toned atmosphere, it's a great place for a date, or to bring family and relax over a cup of tea.

Dense Basque cheesecake vs tiramisu: which suits coffee better?

I came for a simple cup of coffee after lunch, but there were too many delicious-looking desserts, so I ended up gathering a few.

The dense, rich Basque cheesecake had that signature thick, dense texture, with cheese flavor spreading softly across the palate. Taking a bite and following it with an Americano, the rich cheese flavor paired really well with the coffee's bitterness. Rather than eating the cake straight through, alternating with coffee balanced the sweetness nicely, which made it more enjoyable for me personally.

The salt bread — crispy and salty on the outside, plain but flavorful inside — was also a treat!!

The tiramisu, with its soft cream and coffee flavor, had its own charm compared to the rich Basque cheesecake thanks to its smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture. Ordering both meant one was rich and dense, the other soft — it was fun comparing the two very different flavors side by side.
