With the season changing, I went to a hair salon near Sinnonhyeon Station to breathe some life into my long hair, which had been limp and heavy—partly for a little mood change, too.

My long hair before the service and why I chose high layers

First, here is the before photo. The ends were badly split and dry, so the curls had loosened every which way, and my hair looked heavy and stuffy overallㅠㅠ

The service I got this time was high layers! My hair was quite damaged, so I worried whether I could even get a perm, but I went ahead with a high-layered perm using the damage-minimizing Re-Born ribbon perm!

After the service, you can take photos with the photo booth inside the salon!! (For free!) It was my first time seeing a Life Four Cuts-style photo booth in a hair salon, so that was fascinating haha.

They explained the super-simple home styling method so clearly and at my level that even I, someone hopeless with hair styling, can easily follow it at home. Blow-drying is actually fun now.
