Bujeon Station BBQ restaurant: first-time pork tail, Dwitdon Sanghoe
In short
Dwitdon Sanghoe, Jeonpo Branch is a pork rare-cut BBQ restaurant right in front of Bujeon Station in Busanjin, Busan. The Dwitdon assorted set brought back head meat, cheek meat, sublingual meat and snout meat, plus a first taste of doraechang (pork intestine) and pork tail, with tofu kimchi and bibim noodles included in the basic setup. The pork tail was the best bite of the night at Dwitdon Sanghoe, while the doraechang divided opinion.

What kind of place is Dwitdon Sanghoe, the Jeonpo BBQ spot in front of Bujeon Station?
Jeonpo BBQ, Bujeon Station favorite: Dwitdon Sanghoe ▫️Hours 15:00 – 24:00 ▫️Parking ❌ (nearby paid parking, 1 hour covered)

On a cooler day, my boyfriend and I were on a Jeonpo date and stopped by >>Dwitdon Sanghoe<<, a pork rare-cut specialist right in front of Bujeon Station. True to its name, dwitgogi (pork rare cuts) is the main event, but they also serve plenty of other pork options like samgyeopsal, thin-cut samgyeopsal, and black pork.

Since it's a newly opened spot, it wasn't crowded so we got to enjoy the spacious interior comfortably! It's roomy enough for a family dinner or even a work dinner.

Ordering the Dwitdon Assorted Set at Dwitdon Sanghoe, plus à la carte options
ORDER: Dwitdon Assorted Set Dwitgogi (pork rare cuts) is the star, but there's a wide menu including samgyeopsal and thin-cut samgyeopsal, and you can also order makchang, pork skin, and pork tail individually.

Write a review on Naver, Google, or Danggeun and you get a free beef doenjang jjigae or kimchi jjigae! Turn on Naver alerts too and you even get a bonus loaded steamed egg! Such a good deal 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Tofu kimchi and bibim noodles come with the meal
A BBQ place that gives you tofu kimchi and bibim noodles (spicy mixed noodles) as the default setting!! And the tofu kimchi is even at the self-serve bar for unlimited refills!

First bite goes to the sweet and tangy bibim noodles. For someone who can't handle much spice, it wasn't too spicy, and not overly sweet or salty either 👍🏻 It seemed like it would go great with the meat, but we finished it before the meat was even grilled,,

The tofu kimchi speaks for itself,, the kimchi itself was so good you could finish a whole bowl of rice with just this. A total rice thief,, at a bar this would cost 10,000–20,000 won as anju (drinking snack), but here it's unlimited refills — thank you, boss 🫶🏻
What's in the Dwitdon Assorted Set, and what to grill first
The Dwitdon assorted set comes with six special pork cuts plus doraechang (pork small intestine) and pork tail! Rear head meat, cheek meat, sublingual meat, snout meat, temple meat — so many cuts I'd never seen before,, I honestly can't remember what the last one was ㅜㅜ

The doraechang and pork tail, which I'd never seen before, looked pretty wild too,, you grill starting from the rear head meat clockwise, and the staff said doraechang and pork tail need to be grilled until well-crisped.

Back head meat (dwittongsal)
The rear head meat had a thick layer of skin attached, exactly like eating pork neck with the skin on! That thick part was all skin, and it was so chewy and delicious!

Pork tail: the best bite of the night
Neither my boyfriend nor I had ever tried pork tail before, but it was the best thing we ate that day. It tastes like pork skin with meat attached — I'd honestly want to order just pork tail next time. A total delicacy ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cheek meat (bolsal)
As the name suggests, this is cheek meat, and it even looked like beef from the outside! I thought it would be tough since there's barely any fat, but the rich flavor was surprising.

Sublingual meat and snout meat
Sublingual meat is from under the tongue, with a slightly crunchy texture — this was really good too! Being rare cuts, they were all texture geniuses.
Snout meat had a similar texture to the sublingual meat but a bit more springy! Texture-wise, sublingual and snout meat were the tastiest!

Doraechang (pork intestine): how did it taste?
The look of it was so unusual I ate it half-worried, half-excited, but it had a chewy texture and the savory flavor of daechang (large intestine) too — an odd but interesting taste! Personally I wasn't a fan, but my boyfriend said it was really good. Seems to split opinion, but worth trying at least once!

We enjoyed all the other cuts too!

With so many different pork cuts and plenty of side dishes including tofu kimchi, it had that trendy donmakase (pork omakase) feel these days haha!
Worth it for a Jeonpo date course?
Dwitdon Sanghoe, a Bujeon Station favorite, is a great stop while on a Jeonpo date! The owner was so kind, and it was great being able to try everything from samgyeopsal to rare cuts to pork tail haha. If you're looking for a Jeonpo BBQ spot or a Bujeon Station restaurant, I recommend Dwitdon Sanghoe :)
