Grilled marinated pork ribs and self-serve grill bar in Suyeong, Busan
In short
Geobugi Dongne Namcheon Branch is an aged pork belly restaurant right outside Exit 1 of Namcheon Station in Suyeong, Busan. Visiting as a group of three, the writer ordered the jjolmyeon (chewy noodles) pork belly set (giant spicy vegetable jjolmyeon plus 500g pork belly) and marinated pork ribs, grilling everything alongside self-serve wrapping greens, banchan, and extras like sausage, fish cake, zucchini, potato, and rice cake sticks. First orders start at 500g and there's a ₩5,000 table fee, but it's a great pick for a group dinner.

The menu's strength is its set combos

The signature dish is pork belly, and Geobugi Dongne's strength is how easy it is to order as a set. The jjolmyeon pork belly set, couple set, and family set all give you really good value.

We ordered the jjolmyeon set (with pork belly) and the marinated pork ribs. It was more than enough for the three of us.
Things to check before you go
- The first order must be at least 500g.
- There's a ₩5,000 table fee.
- No separate table setting is prepared — use the self-serve corner instead.
What's at the self-serve corner
Wow... a self-serve corner this big at a barbecue place? Impressive. There were the most types of wrapping greens and banchan (side dishes) I've seen — at a glance you can see a huge range of banchan, sauces, and greens.

Besides the various wrapping greens, there's a side corner with sausage, fish cake, zucchini, potato, rice cake sticks, and more to grill. There's also a shabu-shabu menu, so these seem prepped for that too.

We grabbed bracken fern, bean sprouts, and white kimchi to eat to our taste, plus dried radish strips and other banchan — really good to eat alongside the meat.
Jjolmyeon pork belly set: giant spicy vegetable jjolmyeon + 500g pork belly

We ordered the giant spicy vegetable jjolmyeon and the pork belly set. Wow... the portion is just right, great value for money.

The 500g pork belly came out first. It came as thick, more than two whole pieces, so you can eat really well.
Shall we start grilling? Heat up the pan. Pork belly along with potato, zucchini, rice cake sticks, sausage — it's all better grilled together, right? This is textbook crispy-outside-tender-inside pork belly. The savory juices burst the moment you bite in, and the meat-to-fat ratio is perfect, filling your mouth with flavor. The pork belly seemed to be good quality — it inspired confidence.
Next came the giant spicy vegetable jjolmyeon. Wow.... the combination of pork belly and jjolmyeon is art. The jjolmyeon vegetables include lettuce, cabbage, perilla leaf, carrot and more — mix it all together. The sauce is spicy-sour-sweet, and the moment it hits your mouth, the tang stimulates your salivary glands before the spicy-sweet-sour flavor kicks in and whets your appetite.

When you're eating rich pork belly, you crave something spicy, right? I genuinely, highly recommend this. You have to try it.
Want to make a wrap? Put jjolmyeon on the wrapping leaf, add pork belly, and wrap it all together. With fragrant perilla leaf, jjolmyeon, and pork belly, you get layers of flavor.

Finishing with sweet-and-salty marinated pork ribs
The last meat, the textbook sweet-and-salty marinated pork ribs. Of course, you finish with pork ribs.

The moment it hits your mouth, sweetness comes first, followed by a savory saltiness. Not too sweet, not too salty — really delicious.

With such good food to go with drinks, how could you skip them? Beer, soju, cider... I had cider while my friends had beer and soju. Truly a drinking-inducing spread.
Atmosphere and group dining
The interior is spacious and clean, and the staff's friendly service stood out. The owner and staff were always smiling brightly and explained everything to us — it made the whole meal feel good.
Wow... this is really good for group visits, and a great spot for company dinners or small gatherings. The tables are spaced apart, making it well-suited for get-togethers.
Event and dessert
There's a 100g pork belly coupon event usable at Geobugi Dongne Namcheon Branch. It can be used when ordering with other menu items, and coupons can't be combined.

Geobugi Dongne even nails dessert — try the ice cream. A really nice finishing touch.
In summary
- A Namcheon-dong pork belly restaurant with great value and great taste
- A spacious, clean interior
- Friendly service from the owner and staff
- A variety of set menu combinations
