I visited a café called Yu Yu Yu in Sambang-dong, Gimhae. I found it while looking for a mountain-view or forest-view café, and honestly it gave me the same vibe as those cafés near Daecheong Valley in Jangyu.
It's written both in Korean as 유유유 and in capital letters as UUU. This is the main house, and there's another building right next door.
This is the building right next to it, still under construction. What is this, a totally new café in the making?
The parking lot here was genuinely huge. There must be about three rows of spaces like this — you could come even on a weekend without worrying about parking!
What bakery items and menu prices does Yu Yu Yu have?
The first-floor bakery display at Yu Yu Yu has all kinds of salt bread and even almond croissants. There are so many cute Maenggu (a well-known Korean cartoon character) figures around the shop that I almost passed out… you can spot the one holding a rock here and there.
Bread comes with free wrapping if you spend over ₩30,000 — good to know if you want to pack some for home! They also have financiers, egg tarts, cookies, and scones. When I visited there were no name tags or price tags, so I just picked whatever caught my eye ₊˚⊹♡
They also have several kinds of croissants ready, plus sausage hot dogs and tigré cakes. A café worth coming to for a bread brunch. Every item at Yu Yu Yu was in its own case, so it felt very hygienic.
Sandwiches and Basque cheesecake are in the fridge at the back. That's also where the choco salt bread and Dubai choco salt bread are — and wow, the Dubai one looked so irresistible I grabbed it on the spot.
Signature drinks include U-latte, U-cream latte, and U-Sim shake. There's also a wide range of coffee, cream lattes, lattes, ades, teas, and smoothies with bingsu (shaved ice dessert), and you can switch to decaf or add a shot.

First-floor seating and the self-service bar at Yu Yu Yu
The first floor also has mountain views and a clean vibe. There are outdoor seats too, which would be great in this kind of weather.
The self-service bar has forks, knives, spoons, scissors, water, and so on — it all looked well maintained. I also checked out the restroom and it was spotless, like a brand-new building!
Second floor at Yu Yu Yu: 12-seat group table and mountain window view
The second floor has a table that seats 12 people. First time seeing a seat with this many chairs lined up haha.
The café is spacious and the sofas are super soft, so it's great for lingering a long time. The tables face the windows, so the view is really nice.
This is the view from a window seat. Yu Yu Yu seems like the kind of place that's best when the sun is out — the view really shines in daylight ( *˙˙*)
Tasting Dubai salt bread, garlic butter scone and the U-Sim shake
Dubai salt bread ₩7,500, garlic butter scone ₩5,000, Americano ₩5,000 (+₩1,000 for decaf), U-Sim shake ₩7,500. I wanted to try the signature drink so I added the U-Sim shake. The Dubai salt bread was bigger than I expected!
The mountain scenery through the window was pretty too. I wonder if it gets a bit lonelier-looking once winter comes?
The U-Sim shake is a coffee shake with a flavor everyone can agree on — sweet enough that even grandparents would like it. I had high expectations since it's the signature drink, and it delivered! The decaf Americano was good too.
The Dubai salt bread was more filling than I expected. The chocolate coating wasn't a cheap kind — it was genuinely good chocolate. I cut it with a knife to eat, and Dubai-style always tastes amazing no matter when you eat it.
The seasoning — or is it cream? — on top of the garlic butter scone was seriously delicious. I usually prefer plain bread over seasoned ones, but the flavors on this garlic butter scone were truly well balanced!
The Dubai salt bread has chocolate cream inside. This is definitely sneaky-high in calories… I've been in a phase where I don't mind gaining weight lately, so I couldn't stop eating it.
I ended up scraping the plate clean. I'd been craving Dubai chewy cookies lately, but this Dubai salt bread gave me a proper dose of healing ❥ If you're looking for a café in Sambang-dong, Gimhae, coffee in Gimhae, or a good spot to eat in Gimhae, it might be worth stopping by Café Yu Yu Yu.
