Gimhae indoor dog-friendly café with a kids' fishing area: Yu Yu Yu

This time I went looking for somewhere my dog and my kid could both enjoy together. After visiting a dog park, I searched for a decent café nearby and came across Yu Yu Yu (UUU) in Gimhae. Since it's a large bakery café that allows dogs indoors, I didn't hesitate to visit — and once I got there, it turned out to be a pretty satisfying spot to bring both a dog and a child.

Yu Yu Yu also has a space set up for kids to play, with various toys arranged for a fishing game in particular. Apparently the space is normally filled with water, but when I visited it had all been drained — maybe because they're preparing to expand or relocate. Still, my kid had a great time playing with the toys for quite a while.

Dogs are welcome on the first floor of Yu Yu Yu

What I especially liked was that the whole first floor was set up so dogs could stay with you — they even had folding chairs and tables ready in case seating ran short, and

They had baby chairs as well as dog cushions ready to go. Best of all, the staff really adored my dog, so my pup got showered with love the whole visit.

The lower first floor looks outdoor but is air-conditioned indoor seating

When I first saw the lower section of Yu Yu Yu's first floor, I thought it was outdoors and headed there — but it turned out to be an indoor space with the air conditioning blasting! You can use the heater when it's cold and the AC when it's hot, so it seemed like a comfortable place to stay with a dog regardless of the season. It's been disappointing that there aren't many indoor dog-friendly cafés lately, so I was really glad to come across a large café in Gimhae where I could bring both my kid and my dog.

Thanks to Gimhae's UUU café, I got to spend a happy time indoors with cool AC breeze, my dog, and my kid — it had been a while since we'd had a day like that —

How the U-Latte tastes, plus a cucumber-free sandwich

Maybe because it uses blended milk, the U-Latte had a nutty, sweet taste that was exactly my personal preference, so I enjoyed drinking it a lot.

The bread wasn't as small as I'd expected either, and my kid ate it up so fast — one whole piece gone in an instant. The sandwich didn't have cucumber in it, which made me even happier. I have a cucumber allergy, so I always have to check for cucumbers before ordering a sandwich at a café, which is stressful — but this time I could eat without worrying!

Why dogs can't go up to the second floor

Dogs aren't allowed on Yu Yu Yu's second floor, but I went up briefly to check out the pretty view. There were plenty of tables set up, and the scenery through the windows was lovely, so many people were seated up there. It was nice that baby chairs were available in good numbers on both the first and second floors.

Since I visited with my dog, we spent our time comfortably on the first floor, and it was all the more satisfying that both my kid and my dog could enjoy themselves with ease — a large café in Gimhae I'd recommend. Especially on hot days like summer, it's not easy to go café-hopping outdoors with a dog, so being able to stay together in a cool indoor space was great. If you're looking for a café in Gimhae to take both your kid and your dog to, I'd recommend UUU café for everyone to enjoy.
